Sewing lesson with Grandma on my 1956 #singerfeatherweight This girl made her first #quilt over the weekend. Simple acts like this help me see the marching line of our female ancestors so clearly, and give me so much gratitude for my place in the generations. #generationalhealing #handmade

@holbrook.jane tested Kitty and Mary (and Jane!)- I love how they turned out! She chooses the coolest fabric for the hair. Zoom in to see the textures she got with her fabric choices. I'm also dying at how perfect Tula Pink is for Kitty's dress!

Mary and Kitty are out this Friday. Jane is up on my shop, along with Bingley!

Here are Bingley and Jane by @holbrook.jane! Jane has previously tested some of my patterns before, and she always does wonderful work! I love the matching blues and the green jacket for Bingley. If you look at Jane's bangs, you can see that she chose fabric to make it look more hair-like! 🥰 Also I just realized that none of us have given either of them darker hair colors 😂

Here's @holbrook.jane's Henry VIII 😊 Jane stepped in to help out with Henry, and did such amazing work on her version of him! I'm very, very impressed with the directional background fabric- mine would not have lined up like this 😂 I'm looking forward to seeing her final quilt top!

Henry VIll is out tomorrow. He's a traditionally pieced quilt block that's intermediate to advanced. recommend experience with stitch and flips, small piecing, and point matching. Henry has a lot of steps, but he might be more approachable than some of the queens If you'd like to start with him.
.
.
The guidelines for the layout should be available soon, alongside the rose. I'd like to have bundles available with and without the rose, but we'll see what happens. The block prices will remain the same until l've released the bundles, but will bump up in price after that with the bundle reflecting the current price.
