Enthusiastic about adventures big and small. 📍Swissvale, PA

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

That good ol' car on the left was a car that took us to so many memorable places over it's 183,000 miles. We're sentimental AF, and we can't help but remember it took us across the country - 20 states at once -with our good ol Siley bear and his terminal illness - from sea to shining sea, really, since we told him we'd take him to the Pacific Ocean and we had to make good on that promise. And it took us to his final destination😭 It took us to my dad's funeral, my grandmother's and to several others. It took us to our wedding, and to our honeymoon to another dang country. It took us to the airport and waited for us for a month while we walked the Camino. It carried hundreds upon hundreds of plants for years and years, supporting the garden tour and the farmers market and more. It took us on countless adventures up and down mountains and dirt roads. It took us to the women's march, amongst other protests, and it must have played at least 700 hours of Indigo Girls tunes because what good is a Subaru if you aren't cliché gay?

But this past week it took us on one final trip. We thanked it profusely and said goodbye. We must usher in a new era of adventure. An all-electric, German-engineered, made in Chattanooga adventure. Welcome to the family ID!

Now, can someone tell me why I need a driver's license, bc this thing is definitely smarter than me!

I have approximately 9700 pictures of this sunset. None of them are right, though none of them are wrong. Maybe I'll sit with that lesson for a minute on this last Cape Cod day. Sigh.

Today's adventure brought to you by the hand-drawn map from our cottage hosts. And oysters. Have I mentioned the oysters? No? Omg, the oysters.

ZOMG my wife is the absolute coolest. Her ability to pick up any tune on any instrument simply amazes me, and I can't wait to hear what all she does with this new friend.
