Some weddings are about creating the perfect plan.

This one was about being ready to change it minute by minute.

Our couple are both event producers, which meant the expectations were high. Very high. They know exactly what happens behind the scenes, and they know what it takes to make an event work.

And then came the weather.

It rained throughout the entire setup, with severe storm warnings in place. But one thing remained clear: we wanted dinner to happen outdoors.

So we prepared for every possibility.

Multiple setups. Alternative scenarios. Parallel plans. Constant communication between planners, suppliers and the entire production team.

Every decision had to balance timing, safety, logistics and, above all, the experience of the guests.

The rain didn’t stop until the guests were arriving.

And yet, somehow, the plan kept moving forward.

The ceremony happened outdoors. Cocktails flowed inside and outside. And, against the odds, dinner was finally served under the open sky with some of the final details being completed right up until the very last moment.

But when the guests sat down, they didn’t see the rain, the storm warnings, the contingency plans or the countless decisions behind the scenes.

They just saw the wedding.

And that, for us, is what great event production is about.

Anticipation. Coordination. Precision. Calm under pressure.

And a team that knows how to make things happen.

N&C first came to Barcelona from New York as guests at one of our weddings, some years ago.

Choosing to get married across the ocean can feel overwhelming. And that’s where having a team you can truly rely on matters. A team you can trust to understand what you dream of, even when you don’t quite know how to put it into words, and turn it into something that feels completely yours.

Their words stayed with us because they reminded us that, beyond the design, the flowers, the tables and every little detail, what we create becomes part of someone’s memories.

And that will always be the most beautiful part of it. ♡

Sometimes people ask us if parts of the setup were already there, or if the venue just looked like that haha.

Which, honestly, is always a good sign.

Because when the design really belongs in a space, it feels natural. Not added on. Not forced.

But most of the time, we’re actually starting from a pretty empty canvas.

A lot of what we do in the studio happens way before the wedding day. We go deep into the initial moodboard, using a questionnaire that helps us connect with each couple, their taste, their references and the atmosphere they want to create.

Once that direction is clear, choosing materials, colours, textures or compositions becomes much easier. Everything starts to come from the same place, and that’s what makes the final design feel coherent.

We build, dress and elevate each space so it can later be lived with the same intensity with which it was designed.

Sometimes elevating an event doesn’t mean adding more.
It means choosing the right place to begin with.

When we first visited the site, it didn’t look like a venue.
It was an active extraction plant. Vast, raw and industrial.

But that’s often where the most interesting places are hiding.

Part of our work as creative directors is learning to read spaces differently.
To understand their scale, their textures and the stories they hold.

What others might see as a working landscape, we saw as an extraordinary stage.

It required trust.
At first, it was hard to imagine how an elegant celebration could take shape in the middle of such a raw landscape.

But once the decision was made, everything started to align.

The setting, the company’s story and the celebration of 50 years became part of the same narrative.
