🤩 HARD LAUNCH 🤩 Dr. Eva Katsaros, DNP, FNP-BC

Who would’ve thought that my life would be so changed by a bunch of kids with little plastic gadgets keeping them alive. Those of you closest to me know this process was not easy for me, in many ways. I thought about that a lot while waiting to walk across that stage, but (by what I can truly only attribute to God’s grace), thinking about my kiddos and the T1D world brought me back to earth in those moments. I hope to learn how to be as supportive to them as they’ve been to me.

So many people were integral in supporting me in this process, but most of all my parents. Unconditional love is truly their second language, and I don’t come even close to having enough gratitude for the level of support they give me. Shout out to my dad for completing a Certificate in Non-Profit Studies at UofR (rival grads!), showing me that learning is a humbling and lifelong process.

Thank you to the many friends and family who were on this journey with me, my T1D mentors and role models, my study group/fellow graduates for keeping me sane, and all the little interactions and moments I’ve had that have helped me learn and grow. Now…onto the next! 😉
