Sooo last Black History Month post (It's March 1st, I know 🙃). This is also my Music/Practice account, and my family is musical...and Black ✊🏾...so perfect excuse to post about my mom! She sings and writes music sometimes (I don't wanna put any here, but the one playing, is her favorite song). She sang a lot back in NY especially, and won the Apollo...5 times actually. 😅👏🏽 Her primary/first genre is Gospel (runs in the family huh?), but she's sang some blues and jazz type stuff too. 😊 I might edit this later, but I wanted to post while fresh on my mind. 💖
