Dj Shadow - Endtroducing 30th Tour

Lots of nostalgia tonight. Around 2006 I had a college radio show going for awhile down in Nelsonville, Ohio. I would always play some Dj Shadow here and there in that small Appalachian town. Most of the local music was country. I transmitted all kinds of soundwaves into those hills. I had some listeners that would request Dj Shadow after that, or tell me they heard a certain song they really liked.

Wonderful show this evening!! DJ D Sharp opened it up well 🔥🎶🎵🔊🪇🎷🎹🎻🪉🪊🎚🪈🎤🎧🎛

Wet plate photography with Eric Haines @e.l.haines. Eric was gracious enough to capture a portrait when I came in to the studio to wrap up DJ Shadow’s @djshadow tour prep. This incredibly old school process has such a cool vintage look.

Dimensional Holofonic Sound :: Concept Record (Self Released)

"Concept Record not only works as a creative tool; it demonstrates what can be created when Professor Ben’s instruction is heeded. The concept is to use this record alongside other records to make new records, while providing a legitimate D.H.S. album of its own right—one that embraces the features that help make physical records so fun and appealing."

Dimensional Holofonic Sound ‘Concept Record’- 2026 double vinyl LP on Holofonic Recordings.

I just received this record in the mail a few days ago. This is the newest album from DHS (aka Ben Stokes from Tino Corp, Meat Beat Manifesto, Man From Mantis, H-Gun Labs, Quietworld, The Forger, etc, etc.) If you know Jack Dangers and Meat Beat Manifesto, you know about Ben Stokes and DHS. There is actually a Jack Dangers Remix on this record (Green Acid) and a song called “Meat Beat Manifesto Soundcheck”. The artwork on this record is awesome and this is what DHS says about the vinyl itself:
“At its heart, Concept Record is an instrument disguised as an album. Pressed as a deluxe two-disc gatefold 12-inch LP, the release functions simultaneously as a collection of finished compositions and an interactive performance tool. The records contain 15 locked grooves, dozens of rhythmic and sonic fragments, and carefully synchronized loops that allow DJs to create entirely new compositions in real time using two turntables.”
