Something big happened in Japan - George asked me to marry him, and I said yes, of course!!! 💍 George, you really do make my life complete, and I can't imagine a world without you. You make everything better, more fun; you understand me like nobody else. We'll have so many years to discuss the true meaning of 'umami' and making up new inside jokes, characters, entire worlds! 🦈🐻💕 I love you so much, and I can't wait to call you my husband 🥂

I've got to mention the ring as well: George absolutely nailed it. For a long time I've made it clear I do not like diamonds at all, for many reasons (ethics, price manipulation etc), and George took this on board. He also knows how much I value craftsmanship, especially from my fellow Welsh people, and had this one-of-a-kind ring made with recycled rose gold and two stunning, ethically sourced sapphires, in a beautiful green and pink, by a Pembrokeshire based artist. Absolutely blown away, I couldn't have made a better choice myself! 😭❤️

BGPLY_Jacket: light way

The jacket consists of two inseparable parts. The base of the product is the blown part, and the second part is the bag enveloping the body with a pocket with a special window for STEM PROJECTOR by @stemplayer When creating this element, we relied on the idea, the form factor of the player and the community idea that gadgets should unite people, create a lifestyle and simplify the user-experience.

영국 골드스미스와 한양대학교 파이스튜디오의 교수진, 대구창조경제혁신센터가 함께 ‘글로벌디자인스쿨’을 진행했습니다. 이번 글로벌디자인스쿨에서는 스타트업을 대상으로 ‘혁신적인 디자인을 위한 창의적 디자인 방법론’ 워크숍이 4일 동안 열렸습니다. 이후 5명의 골드스미스 출신 디자이너가 스타트업들과 팀을 이룬 뒤 약 한 달간의 멘토링을 거쳤습니다. 또한 최종 선발된 3개 팀에게는 세계 3대 디자인 페스티벌 중 하나인 ‘런던 디자인 페스티벌’에 자신들의 제품을 선보이는 기회가 주어졌습니다.

We are so PROUD of our beginners!! Many of our regular attendees are now shredding up the parks and we also have new people showing up every week overcoming the biggest challenge of all - actually going to a skatepark on your own for the first time knowing full well that you’ll feel scared and uncomfortable and out of place but also knowing that you have this voice in your soul that won’t shut up until you get out there and do it! Congrats to our regulars and our newbies alike for showing up and getting on the board. Congrats to those people who show up with tears in their eyes because they’re so nervous or because their self confidence has taken a blow for whatever reason. Big up the people battling mental or physical health problems who make the effort to come along and push themselves anyway. Love for those people who have anxiety and those people just having a shit time in general but still being a smile and a positive attitude to the park. And thank you - thank you to the newbies coming along and helping us grow. Thank you to the regulars who keep this whole thing going and are building our community from the inside out. Thank you to the non beginners who come along and help us claim space and give us good vibes! Thank you to the people who see what we’re doing and give us some space to learn. Well done to everyone involved we see you all shining and we love you!!! My first time playing with hardware at a hackathon 🔌 Ended up making a prototype of a dynamic-utility-bill-reminder-calendar-thingie!
It's got a wee #arduinouno duct taped behind the cardboard with a lil LCD screen poking through to show your bill info. Initially I was planning to use a square Nokia 5110 screen - one which I had to re-solder mid-hack, but the hardware lab was missing one tiny component so I had to throw the idea of using that (and connecting it all with an #adafruit Circuit Playground) out the window, thankfully plan B with an Arduino Uno worked!
