Last of the posts for today:

I got the opportunity to go to @carpetbooth and participate in a recording session with a ton of other people for a single on @lowtide.dyl ’s next album, “On the Verge of an Entirely New World,” called “A Wilderness of Water.”

It’s always been a thing on my bucket list to participate in the recording of an album, so when I was asked a month or so ago by Dylin to participate, I jumped at the opportunity.

I’ve been to carpet booth once for an open house they did (shoutout to @de_dn_me for the tour!) and actually getting to go there for a small recording session was awesome. I saw a few people I already knew (shoutout to @vendela_vo , @raecat567 , @theofficialemceej , Austin), met a ton of awesome people from different walks of life and a few from different states (shoutout to @fat.cone ), and seeing everyone come together for this was just really cool.

I also spun a wheel and got tased in the knee (scroll to the end to see that).

Thanks to Carpet Booth for providing their space, shoutout to Dyl for bringing this community together for this, and shoutout to everyone else who came!

We made it. It’s DOUBLE show week. 🎂🚨

This weekend we add yet another chapter to what has been a historically well-documented four days in the Jahns family household… thanks Mom for the window into birthdays past. Thanks to the four bands (tagged) that are coming along for the ride this weekend.

We have the setting. We have the acts. Now all we need… is you 👀🤝

Presenting the Jahns Birthday Weekender, coming this April 🎂🎉

Here at GTHQ, we faced a dilemma. Isaac & Lucas, the two Jahns boys, have April birthdays four days apart. We can’t celebrate Lucas’s birthday properly on the 16th - it’s a Wednesday, that’s a lift day, we can’t mess with that - and Isaac’s birthday is the 20th, which happens to be an Easter-4/20 combo extravaganza this year. That’s a true family occasion. Can’t mess with that either.

So the brothers have jointly decided to celebrate getting older the only way we know how: in between the two big days, we have a weekend full of shows 💫

Friday night, we kick things off with a FREE show at @56brewing featuring true homies @filthykittens & @sunnyduchessband 💥

The next day, we’re homeward bound to Rochester for our first show there in like six months 🤯 honored to have @holyroseband & @honeygrlmusic joining us at @treedomemn

It’s our first time having shows on back-to-back days in five years! Come see a show! Bring cake!
