Remember this tiny Oystercatcher...?

I did an art swap with Karen, a wonderful textile artist you can find @homesteadcreative_ and I am now the very proud owner of this stunning tweed ocean wall hanging. The colours are just stunning and it will have pride of place in my new studio (work is due to begin mid-September).

Thank you so much Karen for suggesting a swap and sharing your wonderful work with me. I love the connections we forge when making things.

Day 29 - Favourite part ✨️

I absolutely love seeing my makes in your homes 🥰

Sometimes when I'm dropping off a local order, I open the door and I spot something I've made hanging on the wall..... Then I usually walk back to my car grinning like a dork because I'm so chuffed 🤓😆

It happens lots of here too, someone will post a story of their little ones birthday and behind them on a shelf is something I've made and it's a really lovely feeling! 🥲

This photo is a good example, on @homesteadupholstery post along side one of her gorgeous footstools 🤍

I absolutely love these gorgeous footstools from www.homesteadupholstery.co.uk
They are expertly made with oak legs, all constructed by Karen.
I have two of them in my sitting room, "Reflections" and "RippleS tripe in Duck Egg and Dune. This "Lapwing" footstool would be wonderful in my sitting room to but I only have two feet!
Go buy a footstool!!!!
They make wonderful gifts, with Mothers day not far away!!!!!

Here’s a before and after pic of the fabulous 1970s @parkerknoll Stratton rocking chair.

Did you know Parker Knoll have been making furniture for over 150 years! 😯

It’s finished in a lovely earth/flint Melton wool from @abrahammoonsons

The matching Homestead footstool is a perfect partner don’t you think?

I love the original catalogue picture that the chair’s lovely owner Emma shared. 😊
