Excuse me while I get a lil emotional (I am a Cancerian after all x) Life knocks your confidence in many ways, things can’t always be how you’ve pictured them, and it’s a struggle sometimes to see beauty in the wake of losses, of any kind. This weekend myself and a tiny incredibly talented team brought to life a 3 day group show 4 months in the making. And it made me confident again. Not just in my own ability but in the world. So many things are hard to carry on your own and healing spaces with 0 expectation but to praise one another are profoundly important. Watching 30 artists do exactly this with their loved ones; friends, family and new found connections was true TLC for the heart. I’m so grateful to have played a part in facilitating pride, the ultimate form of resistance, and curating something so many could feel proud of. Especially those not here to celebrate with us. Thank you to everyone who let us witness confidence radiate from them this weekend, in turn it radiates from me 💛 Love always @ncproductions01 💐 @storybybokoko @ma_rtina_amo @_emille__
