✨2016✨ I thought to myself “oh 2016? I wasn’t really in the public eye yet.” Then I went through pictures of me on camera, on stages, on a runway?! When I look back at 2016 now it feels like a time where my personal brand and career started to lock in. I can see in these pictures the seeds that blossomed onto the life I have today. 2016 was a time of deep healing, growth, and renewal. Looking back at it now a decade later, I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. 💛 1 - the beginnings of me actually embracing actor as an identity, staring in my first web series. 2 - playing a non-binary romantic lead in that series and reading @katebornstein on screen. 3 - the beginning of my education work, creating The Trans Literacy Project with @honestaccomthtr and @keenanblogger 4 - being a goofball, as per usual. 5 - directing a musical I love for the company I grew up in - and collaborating with my mom to make it happen. 6 - the birth of my writing career, producing a show full of letters to people who had hurt me, healing in public, and teaching myself so much about my life and my performance abilities. 7 - my first modeling gig?! #TransWoman #NonBinary #2016 #TenYears #GlowUp

We’re so grateful to have @ics_inclusivecommunity joining us at our 3pm performance Sunday August 11th to provide ASL Interpretation for the show! If you haven’t gotten your ticket yet, get it now at the link in our bio 🎟️ Spoonie Stories: Notes To My Health is a partially devised, partially scripted piece in development. The script will feature a series of letters that members of the chronic illness community wrote between themselves and their illness, a medical professional, a caregiver, or a loved one. The letters give raw, unfiltered insight into the impact these illnesses have on the people who live with them and bring representation to a community often forgotten about. Featuring an entirely chronically ill cast, the play will showcase authentic stories for the community, by the community. #ASL #AccessibleTheatre #Spoonie #NYCTheater #SpoonieCommunity #ChronicIllnessCommunity #DisabilityCommunity #NewPlay #Theater #Theatre

We’re still accepting donations to our fundraiser for our upcoming play! Spoonie Stories: Notes To My Health is a partially devised, partially scripted piece consisting of letters written by people living with various chronic illnesses between themselves and their illness, a medical professional, a caregiver, or a loved one. The play features an entirely chronically ill cast whose goal is to bring authentic representation to the chronic illness community. Funds raised go towards increasing stipends for our cast and crew, covering production expenses, and making this production as accessible as possible for our team. The link can be found in our bio. #NewPlay #NYCTheater #DisabledActor #SpoonieArtist #ChronicIllness #Spoonie #AccessibleTheatre #TheatreForAll White and rainbow background with black text reading “Donate To SpoonieStories”. A black line sketch of the comedy tragedy masks is in the center. The comedy mask has a feeding tube and the tragedy mask is wearing sunglasses and having a migraine. There is a ribbon behind them and sparkles to the side.

Lost a friend, a powerful community member and advocate who used to tell me “take up space Bitch.”I met Cecelia in 2016 working with Honest Accomplice and we used to live off the same subway stop and would occasionally find each other on our commutes (we found each other on the subway platform a few times over the years!) She was a powerful and fierce advocate and storyteller. We will continue your legacy 🏳️‍⚧️💗💙. Also shout out to the fabulous @believeinmaybe and @honestaccomthtr
