What a treat to celebrate the 20th birthday of @24hoursoflemons ! We are closing in on the 19th birthday of Bernal Dads Racing, and we’re having more fun than ever. We’ve learned how to build race cars (mostly), how to drive them (again, mostly), and how do to something competitive and sorta high-stakes while keeping our friendship the first priority. Thanks to @hoobiegram @bigcitrus510 and the countless other Lemons staffers who have made this nonsense possible.

2008 Altamont, our second race

We paid tribute to that original look at Laguna Seca

Racers Donald, Stephan, Mark, and Brandon were the crew for this race, but we have had 46 (!) people sit behind the wheel of one of our cars (including the Chief Perp whom we sent out at Reno with a nearly empty tank…)

We have gotten old and do less of the partying at Lemons races, but we made more of an effort for this race. 😁

The accuracy…

This alloy body Proteus D-Type Jaguar replica that @beelinemotorclub looks after is too good! The car embodies “sense of occasion”, from the sounds, the smells, the wind in your hair and bugs in your teeth, and it’s a beautiful thing to boot!
