Grateful to have a connection to Montauk and spend several Falls traveling up here to visit such a special place with all the activities plus amazingggggg food!

Carey fully enjoyed herself while Cole and I tried to do all the things, but also take some down time to enjoy our trip. So thankful to visit such a special place + get to stay in such an amazing beachfront resort for the first time! 🫶

Meet me in 📍Montauk (but after Labor Day)

🐎 If you're an animal lover stop by @deephollowranch and say hi to the horses or book one of their trail rides or my favorite the beach and trail ride. (1-3) Fun fact: It's the oldest working ranch in the US, established in 1658.

🦭 Do the trails nearby (Oyster Pond) or Seal Haulout Trail where you can sometimes see seals hanging out on the beach. Tip: Spray yourself because it's tick season over here and keep a lint roller because they are tiny! (4-7)

⛵️ Either before the hike or after check out the lighthouse. (8)

🦞 Get the lobster roll at @hookedmtk it's spectacular. (9)

⛱️ Check out all the beaches in the area. One of my favorites is Kirk Park Beach (10-11)

🌅 Grab a drink and watch the sunset (a must) at @montauket_hotel which has an incredible view (12)

🐟 Try the fish and chips at @topsidemontauk which also has incredible views of the water. (13-14)

Not pictured but recommended:

🍦 Grab a little night snack (ice cream) from @daves_drive_in

🍴 Try the lobster salad (it's gigantic) at @duryeasmontauk and the lobster rolls at @bennett.shellfish

🖼 Check out some art at @theranch.art (it's by appointment only so plan ahead)

FYI if you walk by a @shopdoen store enough times with your husband and say “just so you know, you could buy me anything from this store and I’d love it!!!” you might just wake up on the morning of your sixth wedding anniversary with a new babydoll dress he picked out himself (and texted photos of to your sister before buying in case I didn’t literally mean ANYTHING)

MTK holds a whole lot of amazing memories already, I can’t wait for a lifetime more🩵

When the guy at the Montauk Corner Store found out we just got engaged, he immediately gave us this sticker🥹

🤍

John was obsessed with this beer label so it needed a feature

Hooked made the best lobster roll I’ve ever had and I was extremely excited

Our British friends we met at the fire pit got us a round of champagne to celebrate!!

What a fuggin week of food out in the Hamptons. We had some diabolical cheffin 👩‍🍳 We had some marvelous lobster rolls 🦞 We even had an outlandish burger and terrific soft shell crab 🍔🦀 Could get used to this life!!!!!!!!

We stocked up at some farm stands / local fish stores early in the week to make a few fancy meals and each one seriously had us blown away.
1: scallops over a jalapeño / tomato corn salsa
2: burrata / peach salad with some grilled chicken, zucchini, onions, & peppers
3: linguini w/ lemon ricotta, zucchini, & shrimp

You knowwww if we’re out here we are looking to get our annual fix of lobster rolls. All of these are pretty top of the list for out east.
4: Lighthouse Seafood ft. Clam chowder & crab cakes (we also bought our scallops / shrimp here)
5. Hooked Montauk ft. Lobster Mac & spicy crab chowder (fav spot)
6. John Scott’s ft. Fish tacos

Then we had two nights out.
7/8: Once to the North Fork Table & Inn; favorite spot on the North Fork with Thursday’s being burger night: seriously a burger that competes w 4 Charles for $30 with fries and a glass of wine. Everything else is great as well.

9/10: Second night we tried the Stone Creek Inn in Quogue. Average age of the diners was 117 but they had some really delicious food and everything was quite unique. Some amazing sushi, white figs, duck meatballs, and the pictured iberico pork / soft shell crabs.

I have been going to Montauk every summer since I was 10 years old. It is one of those places that gets in your soul and stays there forever. People often ask me why don’t I go anywhere else? Why do I keep coming back? It’s because Montauk has everything that makes me happy. It even keeps my adult children coming back, and the tradition and memories continue. Once Montauk draws you in it doesn’t let go. The best beaches, the best climate, the best views, the best sunsets, the best food and time spent with family. Why go anywhere else?

Check out the photos and see for yourself what makes Montauk so special.
