Kitchen Dance Recipe series 💃Recipe ⤵️ with a sprinkle of Shuffle.

Vegan Banana Protein Blender Pancakes:

🥞 Ingredients:
- 3 cups oats
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 to 3 cups plant milk of choice
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
- 2 tbsp. vegan protein... I used @complement (comment ‘FAVE’ for a discount code.
- 2 tbsp. functional mushroom powder from @staywyldorganics (comment ‘fave’ for discount)
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tbsp. tapioca flour... optional, but it gives it extra fluffiness.

👩‍🍳Directions:
1. Blend oats to a flour.
(practice running wo-man)
2. Add the rest of the dry ingredients. Blend until combined.
(practice T-Step)
3. Add plant milk and bananas and blend until smooth, you may need to add a little extra milk.
(Practice more T-Step)
4. Preheat pan to medium heat.
5. Pour your pancakes and flip after 2 minutes or when you see those little bubbles.
.....In the meantime, warm up some frozen berries in a pot, and add a tablespoon of chia seeds to create a jam-like consistency.
(Charleston it up)
6. Serve it up with some maple syrup, berry chia jam, a sprinkle of coconut, and call it a damn good start to a Sunday.

** This recipe should give you leftovers. Keep the leftovers in the freezer and pop in the toaster to make your regular Tuesday morning easily more awesome

finding your groovy flow doesn’t mean you need fancy moves, it actually comes from practicing the foundations until they feel second nature.

The running wo-man is pretty much part of my personality at this point…
& I’m having so much fun constantly refining, learning, loosening up, and practicing / up-leveling that groovy freestyle & flow feeling 💃

Foundations to drill:
🕺 Running Man
🕺 T Step
🕺 Charleston
🕺 Polly Pocket
🕺 Floating Taps
🕺 V Step
🕺 Kicks
🕺 Slides

Master even just a few, crank your fave choon, and eventually your freestyle flow will start to groove on its own.

At the same time? Joy-injected into your day. Making more energy & lighter vibes, so you can take on what ever may be in front of you with a little more oomf/lightness/love/joy.

Want simple breakdowns and just 5 to 10 minutes of practice a day?

Comment LIGHTEN UP and I’ll send you the waitlist link for my new course inside the Eat Plants & Dance Collective. 💛

The body never ceases to amaze 🤯

Did you know there’s a “second heart” hiding in your calves? 🪩🦵

Meet your SOLEUS.

Think of it like the green-means-GO pump button in your lower legs. Every time it contracts, it helps push blood back up towards your heart, while all that rhythmic muscle movement also helps keep lymph moving.

Can you guess what gets your soleus really fired up?

Micro-bouncing / Rebounding ... (SHUFFLING)💃

Why is lymphatic drainage so important?

💧 Healthy fluid balance + less fluid build-up
🛡️ Immune system support
🩸 Healthy circulation
🌱 Healthy digestion + fat absorption
⚡ More energy + alertness (less brain fog)
✨ Support for healthy, glowing skin

Just one of the million reasons to shuffle.

Your body was made to move & made to dance.

Ready to learn the foundations of both lymph-pumping shuffling and gut-supporting, anti-inflammatory plant-based eats? 🌱🪩

Best thing you can do for your lymph?
Micro bounce. 🕺
AKA shuffle dance.

Fun fact: I was a vibration plate ambassador on TSC for five years before Covid. 4 to 5 live shows a day a few times a year, each an hour or more of talking AND vibrating. 😜

So yes, we talked about the lymphatic system. A lot.

Nothing against vibration plates, but I think I’ve unlocked something even better. 👀

Here’s the thing:
Your lymph doesn’t have its own pump.
It needs YOU to move it.

Think of it as your body’s garbage truck. When your muscles contract and you bounce with gravity, the truck shows up to collect and clear out the built-up gunk.

Feeling puffy, sluggish, sore or stiff? Move your body. Shaking, rebounding and vertical micro bouncing are some of the most efficient ways to get things flowing.

And the best movement is the one you’ll actually enjoy, because joy = consistency. ✨

That’s why I’m all about helping you lighten up with shuffle dancing AND plants. 🌱

I’m creating a course that brings it all together: joyful lymph-loving movement plus the anti-inflammatory power of plants.

Table dancing at 9AM for a great cause ☀️
200+ humans, sunshine and $30K raised so far for Parkinson’s disease 💛

Such an honour to kick off the Parkinson’s Awareness SuperWalk by getting everyone moving and sharing a quick chat about the power of plants + shuffle dance for the brain.
LOVED hearing all the giggles around me, teaching the Charleston.

Diversity of plants = gut health = gut brain connection = brain health

Shuffle Dancing aka microbouncing = lymph health = rewiring the brain = new neural pathways = increased hope molecule = brain health and pure joy ✨

Pulled together by Audra Williams, mike varrin @jim budge in just 48 hours 🙌
Warm up with Susie Douglas & Shuffle dance with yours truly @HookedonPlants @hookedonshuffling @eatplantsanddance

Shout out to my amazing cousin @daniellemurr09 a neurologist who studied Parkinson’s for her master’s 🧠 And to Olivia Kingsford for getting me up on that table 🙈

Did you know:
Parkinson’s is the fastest growing neurological disease in the world.

➡️You can still donate to support awareness
and research until the end of the month:

💃 Dancing has been shown to be the best thing you can do for your brain.
🌱 Eating a diversity of plants is the best thing we can do for a healthy thriving microbiome, which is also… connected to the brain (hello vagus nerve). 🧠

And research shows the best activity you can do to prevent dementia, is dancing.

It re-wire and promotes new pathways in that insanely beautiful, complex brain of yours.

With that, a reminder for you today: take a dance break!
Even 5 mins does wonders for your brain, lymph, energy 😊

Thanks for having me @gqdancefitness @kimt.whistler @fairmontwhistlr 💙
Thx for the snaps Chris Quinlan.
