The RIBBON CANDY HAT AND MITTS are live from @hookmountainhandmade and I just added lots of new kits to my website. One kit is enough yarn to make the adorable set. 🧶

The pattern of the #ribboncandyhat and mitts is available on @hookmountainhandmade 's ravelry and website!

I made my set in @fontyinspiratie_nl mongolia 3, a merino-yak blend. Super nice to wear now the weather is cooling down in Belgium 👌

Four projects, three Quickies theme, plenty of inspiration.

On the last day of August, we feature our Quickies, with a little something for every kind of knitter: delicate lace in Susurro, a seriously oversized scarf in Rasta, and two Color Crush projects showing what happens when the right colors meet the right pattern.

💖 DFW Fiber Fest 💖

What an amazing trip! From the pool hangouts to the dinners and yarn discoveries the memories will stay with me. Already counting down to next year!

Double tap if these photos make you smile as much as they make me smile 🥰

My first experience at DFW Fiber Fest was incredible. This jumble of photos is a glimpse into the magic! Quite honestly I didn’t take that many photos as I was in the moments and forgot pictures 😊 The organizers made me feel special and worthy. I reconnected with teacher friends and made new ones, learning from shared experiences. Students in my classes were fabulous and each one had at least one “a-ha” moment of unlocking a new skill. Vendors had fantastic and creative booths dripping with inspiration. And friends, so many friends. People I’ve know for years and new friends who feel like worn in friends in the best of ways.
Thank you @dfwfiberfest! I’m back at home with a studio full of notes and ideas, ready for what’s next.

Wearing my Bubble Tea Scarf while making a leather journal cover!
I took the journal cover class at @stationery.fest with @the_superiorlabor and I didn’t expect how relaxing and engaging it would be! I really loved this class and I’m hoping to use my skills to make more journal covers.

Bubble Tea Scarf pattern is out now from @hookmountainhandmade and I used 1 big skein of my own handspun for it. It’s great for when there’s air conditioning and you feel a little chilly indoors.

My new Bubble Tea Scarf! Thanks for having me as a test knitter @hookmountainhandmade 🫶🫶

I used my handspun for this scarf and it works up quickly on a big needle. Can’t wait to make another one
