When the Set Knew They Had Something Special

Will Carter — Director of "Safe Haven," SATO 48 Film Challenge

They shot through the night. Will says by the time they got to the end of it, there wasn't a dry eye on set.

That's when a team knows the thing they're making actually works.

Here's some behind the scenes photos I took from my time filming @justdrewstuff's film "Angie's Birthday" from @hootowlfilms.

Thank you to everyone involved in the project for making this experience a great time, and for allowing me to be a part of this!

Safe Haven. What a wonderful film. Working on this amazing project has brought me so much joy and I can’t be grateful enough to be a part of it. So many amazing people were involved and I simply can’t describe the hard work and dedication that went into this film. Through all the great times and hardships we truly made a work of art we can all be proud of. Thank you to the phenomenal Director Will Carter for pushing me to create something I’m proud of. And thank you to my co star Abby for being such an amazing scene partner and friend you are so beyond talented. And thank you to everyone else involved. We made something truly special.
