Psalm 37:4, “Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”

I prayed for a love that would draw me closer to Jesus, and somehow God gave me even more than I could have imagined! You, Brady Edwards, are my answered prayer, my best friend, and the person I cannot wait to do life with. I love you more than words could ever say, and I am so thankful the Lord chose you for me. LETS! DO! FOREVER!

Yesterday, the @hooverrandle hosted @inbirmingham on its Destinations Tour. Representatives from area hotels, restaurants, and venues enjoyed lunch, explored the gardens, and toured the historic home.

That's just one way to experience the property. The house suits showers, meetings, and small receptions, while the gardens set the scene for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and company lunches. Whatever you're planning, we'll help shape the space around it.

To schedule a tour or check dates, contact Debbie Rutherford at Debbie.Rutherford@hooveralabama.gov or 205-739-6556.

If “be there or be square” made perfect sense to you, I may have just found your people.

Come spend an evening getting creative, making something fun for your fall decor, and enjoying a night out with friends at my Textured Pumpkin Block Workshop!

No artistic experience required. I’ll walk you through the whole process, and you’ll leave with your own textured pumpkin block ready to display all season long.

And yes… you get to choose your colors, so you can make it work with YOUR fall decor.

It may not FEEL like fall temps in Alabama yet, but we’re going to go ahead and decorate like it is.

Come create your own textured pumpkin block with me! You’ll choose your colors, add lots of gorgeous texture, and leave with a piece of fall decor that you’ll be excited to pull out year after year.

And don’t worry if you don’t consider yourself “creative.” I’ll walk you through the entire process step by step.

I know it's still about a million degrees but hang tight because....FALL is just around the corner!

And around here, fall means it’s time for fall creative workshops!

First up: my Textured Pumpkin Block Workshop—and yes, you get to decide whether your pumpkins are classic orange, pretty white, or a combination that’s completely your own.

We’ll paint, layer and add texture to create a set of pumpkin blocks you’ll actually be excited to pull out year after year.

And no art experience is needed! I’ll teach you the process step by step, while giving you plenty of room to play with color and make yours uniquely YOU.

A little creativity at the Hoover-Randle Home 🎨

Vallie Pate led a fun art workshop, giving everyone a chance to slow down, get creative and make something of their own.

Such a sweet afternoon at one of Hoover’s most special places!
