sometimes being present is the present <3

recently, i have been putting so much pressure on myself. to have the perfect workout, the perfect splits, the perfect training block. i work really hard to have a positive mindset, to balance being determined and hard working with being kind to myself.

and as most things do in life, everything fell exactly where it needed to🫶

🌸i had taken an accidental break from full training due to a cold. that time away allowed to me to be present in the wonderful moments happening around me !!

🌸i went to see my favorite artist @jackjohnson with my favorite person @candace_yunker . it was a night full of dancing, happy tears, and the best music ever.

🌸my favorite people @caroline_tibbitts and @sashatrkulja02 got engaged!! these two amazing humans share so much love together and with those around them.

🌸i had to dnf my half marathon… but that let me spend the morning catching up with my mermaid bestie @_riley_foster 🧜‍♀️🧜‍♀️

🌸i’ve been so happy to be back training in sd. to spend time with my friends and at the beach. celebrating @hope.stark SLAYING her chi marathon. and really just being so thankful to have my body back healthy.

i always love sharing race highlights on here, but i also want to remind you that it’s okay when things don’t go your way. sometimes, you have to slow down to realize how much goodness is already happening around you <3
