What a special day!

This week, we celebrated our first Bring Your Kids to Work Day at Hope Bridge and The Christ Foundation!

Over the past several months, we’ve been intentionally planning monthly team-building activities to help our Hope Bridge and Christ Foundation staff connect, strengthen relationships, and stay united in our mission. This day was a beautiful reminder that family is at the heart of everything we do.

We loved watching our team and their kids enjoy a day filled with crafts, bikes and scooters, playground fun, bubbles, pizza for lunch, golf cart rides with Mr. Scott, and, of course, a visit from the ice cream truck!🍦

We’re so grateful for a team that works hard, loves well, and values building community together. We already can’t wait to make this an even bigger tradition next year!

At The Christ Foundation, we're honored to partner with Hope Bridge as they invest in the lives of young people impacted by the foster care system.

This summer, the Hope Bridge team attended the Leadership & Life Skills Summit hosted by ACTION Ohio in Columbus, where they connected with youth from across the state and shared resources through the Youth Empowerment Program. Events like these create opportunities to encourage, equip, and build meaningful relationships with young people as they transition into adulthood.

We're grateful for the work Hope Bridge is doing every day to provide mentorship, life skills, practical support, and lasting connections that help young people move from survival to sustainable success. Swipe to learn more about this incredible program!

This month, OneCity pastors gathered to hear from Summit County Children Services and Hope Bridge about tangible ways we can love the least of these in Akron.

At Love Akron, we believe that love begins with the who, not the what.

Before foster care is a system, it’s a child.

Before family support is a program, it’s a family.

Before a need is a statistic, it’s a person.

If you’re feeling a tap on your shoulder, move forward. Foster. Support a foster family. Show up for a child in need.

Join a Foster Care Information Meeting on June 11 or June 25 to learn more:

Our $5 Give Back Rack is filled with summery finds!

This month's proceeds benefit Hope Bridge.

Hope Bridge supports foster families, single parents, and aging out youth. Funds from this month's Give Back Rack sales will be directed to young adults who have experienced and/or aged out of the foster care system with life skills, support, connection to resources and transitional housing. Donations will help to continue to break down barriers to these young adults achieving independence as successful adults. ❤️

At the race today so many pictures of our lives in Christ was on display.

I was reminded that this life is like a race, and it encouraged me to not grow weary but to keep running towards the finish line…

To see a dad run alongside his son was a picture of how our Heavenly Father sees us, stumbling and messy from mud but so proud just because simply he takes joy in the fact that we’re his…

Another dad who with a smile, welcomes his son across the finish line. I imagine that is something like what Jesus will do when he welcomes us home.

Thank you to The Branch Church for making Project 10:18 the beneficiary of this year’s annual 5K.
All proceeds will go to serve children in foster care and the families that care for them!

From flat to finished… trust the process.
We’ve been hard at work bringing stories life one frame at a time. These clips are from a project we’re collaborating on with @hopebridgeohio. Excited to share more as we complete the project but being reminded today that p ost production isn’t about just the technical shift from flat to vibrant, it’s about honoring the powerful @hopebridgeohio stories and mission.
