🌟 BEHIND THE LENS: Capturing Magic at DADA’s Spring Recital! 🌟
On Saturday, June 15, 2025, Crenshaw High School’s stage transformed into a whirlwind of passion, discipline, and raw talent. Honored to photograph the @debbieallendanceacademy’s Early Bird & Academy Spring Recital—where tiny toes and fierce futures shared the spotlight. ✨

💫 Why DADA Matters:
• More Than Dance: Founded by legend Debbie Allen in 2001, DADA isn’t just a studio—it’s a lifeline. With programs like Sons of DADA (scholarships for young men 8+), Conservatory (pre-professional training), and Early Bird (ages 4–7), it turns dreams into discipline.
• Arts = Education: DADA’s philosophy? Dance teaches grit. Students tackle 9–10 weekly classes (Ballet, Hip Hop, African, Jazz, and more!), while 70% receive scholarships to ensure talent—not zip codes—shapes destiny.
• Community Heartbeat: From free wildfire relief classes to the annual Block Party (June 8, 2025), DADA proves art heals, empowers, and unites.

A Lens on Legacy:
Freezing these moments reminded me: DADA isn’t just teaching pliés. It’s building leaders. As Debbie Allen says: We dance to the beat of changing lives.

👉 Support the Movement:
- Donate: 70% of students rely on aid. Give at debbieallendanceacademy.com/donate
- Join: Auditions for Academy Levels (ages 9–19) on August 23, 2025!
- Experience: Catch their next show—or volunteer!
