2025!!🙃⁣ ⁣ I am so glad this year is ending. this was one of the toughest and most difficult years that I’ve ever faced, but with that said, I am grateful for all of the memories and all of the good that came with 2025. ⁣ ⁣ climbing volcanoes and mountains in El Salvador and BC were experiences that I will never forget, along with seeing Paul McCartney in Montreal. But the best thing that came out of this year was becoming a cat dad to two of the purest souls I’ve ever met, who have brought me so much love, laughter, and a new sense of purpose.⁣ ⁣ even though it was a really hard year, I’m still beyond grateful for the positive experiences and the amazing, loyal people who made it worth while! I’m looking forward to all the good that next year will bring.

we own this city, a heartbreak beating right into the sky, I’ll party like it’s 1989 // when we’re in heaven and earth they’ll just call us suburban legends⁣ ⁣ ⁣ this was the year was where all of my dreams came to fruition, even if the journey afterwards wasn’t always easy. while I was blessed enough to have my career thrive and my quality of life improve, moving to a new city still challenged me in ways I didn’t anticipate. from adjusting to a brand new way of life to losing both my dog and cat (both from old age) in the span of two months, there were times that felt extremely difficult. still, I always managed to find ways to move on. knowing that my pets are no longer in pain puts me at ease, and adjusting to the city has finally set for me. I feel more optimistic about the future than ever before.⁣ ⁣ with that being said, the good moments that came with 2024 were the absolute best. this year was the best year of my life for concerts, a title that had previously belonged to 2018. getting to see pretty much all of my favourite artists in the same year made me so fucking happy. top highlights from this year include the eras tour, the trilogy tour, and the sweat tour, which somehow got in the front row for that one?? don’t ask me how I pulled that off. hearing my fave song of 2024, ‘Guess’ live TWICE (both at charli and billie’s tours) is something I will never get over.⁣ ⁣ all in all, this ended up being the most eye-opening year of my life, where I finally became who I always wanted to be. I didn’t get to travel anywhere this year, but I think the move to toronto in itself was the traveling part? at least that’s how I perceive it anyways. this year helped me narrow down who my true friends are, and who will wholeheartedly be there for me when times are tough. to those who reached out during those tough times, your kindness and compassion is something I will never overlook. ⁣ ⁣ I’ll never forget this year and how it changed me. here’s to 2025.

May 1st- a day we will remember forever for so many reasons but most importantly it marks 1 year of our condo, 1 year of HQ, 1 year of our little nest we’ve created together. When Stefan and I first started dating, a @mcdonalds commercial aired that showed a new couple moving into their place for the first time eating dinner on top of boxes as they unpacked their home together. That Christmas, even though my mom didn’t believe in our relationship at the time since we were so young, she bought me a box, string lights, candles and McDonald’s gift cards that said “here’s to favourite commercials” and said if we ever got our own place one day to recreate the commercial with the song from the ad called Big Black Car by @gregoryalanisakov. (Go on YouTube and search McDonald’s big black car commercial) and so we got to recreate it together in our first home. This nest has held many laughs, tears, and gatherings and so many memories have been made in the process here. Swipe through to see some videos of HQ and all the fun it’s brought us in the past year ❤️ From living room sleepovers, Mario kart nights til 3am, Anomia Nights, Dinner Clubs, Homemade Hotpots, balcony hangs, and dancing in our kitchen to lover by Taylor swift- we are so grateful for HQ and all the memories we have here. Happy birthday to our 775 sq ft of happiness 💖
