Fun bank holiday weekend in Paris at three of my favourite venues; as you might expect, all with notable wine lists!🗼

1. Possibly the world's most beautiful bar @rosewoodhoteldecrillon, aided by Dom Perignon P2 2004 being their house champagne, plus amazing live music. 🎶

2. Few garden terraces can compare with @plaza_athenee; where it doesn't even feel like you're in a city. Becoming a firm favourite to escape the hustle and bustle, with such genteel and engaging service. 🌳

3. The timeless elegance of @fsgeorgevparis, my favourite place in the world to while away an afternoon, listening to the piano. A unique experience visiting their cellar; thanks so much to @frances_cosci. As if it couldn't get any better, also had the best bespoke tiki cocktail of my life at the bar! 🍹

The wines were:

- Dom Perignon P2 2004 (lots of)!
- Laurent-Perrier Grand Siecle Iteration 25

- Coche-Dury Meursault Les Chevalieres 2011 🏆
- Coche-Dury Meursault 2017 (slight TCA)
- Raveneau Butteaux 2011
- Raveneau Montee de Tonnerre 2017
- Raveneau Blanchot 2019
- Comtes Lafon Meursault Charmes 2014
- Comtes Lafon Meursault Perrieres 2019
- Ballot-Millot Meursault Perrieres 2015
- PYCM Meursault Perrieres 2017
- PYCM Corton-Charlemagne 2020

- Georges Noellat Les Petits Monts 2015

2018 is the year we discovered the Queen of the Nordic Drops @hattieboydle! Look at her ability to control the eccentric portion! Simply insane!

It was also the year Hattie stayed with us for a year, getting ready for her 2018 World Championship. During that year, we realized that we were not training hard enough. 😅
