I cannot wait for this one! ❤️

For the FIRST EVER Sto Lat Reunion, we’re bringing together old friends, familiar faces, incredible memories, and a whole lot of love for a place that meant so much to so many of us! @stolatbar

What makes this even more special is that we’re celebrating at @localhollowbrewing , owned and operated by my dear friend Hilary, who was such an integral part of the Sto Lat family. If you haven’t been to Local Hollow yet, you are in for a treat. It’s absolutely amazing, and I couldn’t think of a more perfect place for this reunion! ❤️ @hildoll

And of course, we’re making this evening about giving back, too! Our Hope Rises ‘Hope for the Holidays’ initiative will be part of the celebration, so please bring a Christmas gift to donate and help us spread a little extra joy this holiday season. 🎁

Here’s what you can look forward to:

🍸 Our famous Sto Lat Polish Mules and espresso martinis (yes, they’re back!)

At our "The One Who Knocks" fundraiser, I ran into someone I hadn't seen in more than a decade. His name is Greg, and he was a wish kid through Make-A-Wish. I had the incredible privilege of getting to know him and his mom so many years ago after he received his wish.

Greg now lives in Florida, so the chances of us crossing paths tonight, of all nights, felt like such a God wink. ❤️

Greg has endured an incredibly long and difficult journey with critical illness. Most recently, cancer took his leg, but it certainly hasn't taken away his strength or his spirit.

And there we were, reunited at a fundraiser dedicated to helping families facing the very reality Greg knows all too well. I couldn't help but think about how full circle that moment was.

Sometimes, in the midst of all the planning, fundraising and work that goes into helping others, we are given a reminder of WHY we do what we do!! Tonight, that reminder was Greg.

Cancer doesn't just change a life for a moment. Its impact can last for years, even decades. And the importance of showing up for these families doesn't end in the short term.

Greg, seeing you tonight meant more than you know. I'm so grateful our paths crossed again!!

During #DownSyndromeAwarenessMonth @hoperisesnetwork unveiled a mural that was painted on a 30+ ft wall inside @gigisplayhousebuffalo. GiGis is an organization that supports those with radiant abilities of all ages - from babies to adults - providing educational resources and peer-to-peer programming for opportunities that are inclusive and supportive.

Our board is honored to stand behind GiGis and give them a permanent backdrop to look at, enjoy and be proud of 💙💛

Thank you @emilymondschein for the opportunity! Thank you @ericjonesstudios for coming alongside us!

💜 Let’s turn bystanders into upstanders.

We were honored to attend the 15th Annual Shared Voices: Youth and Community Participatory Approach to Preventing Violence and Promoting Wellness seminar, and proud that Trusted Gives sponsored this meaningful event.

📊 20–30% of students are bullied. 70–80% are bystanders or witnesses.

That second number is our biggest opportunity.

Keynote speaker Dr. Leff shared his community-based research on preventing aggressive bullying, whether verbal, physical, or relational. It often comes from popular, influential students, which is exactly why culture matters so much.

His Friend to Friend (F2F) program brings together small groups of 6–8 students who show aggressive behavior and 2–3 prosocial role models. The results: less relational aggression and more integrity in the classroom. 👏

What we can all reinforce:
✨ Ask, “How do you think that made them feel?”
✨ Support the person being targeted
✨ Encourage others to step in too
✨ Go to a trusted adult for help
✨ Don’t laugh along or pass the note

And WOW, the seniors from Amherst High School’s BAND Against Bullying! Their message of self-love and confidence in the face of negativity was truly inspiring. 💜

Thank you to the Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention for this important work, and to my partners at Hope Rises’ Kind Kidz Crew and Explore & More. Programs like these need continued investment and coaching to create lasting change.

Ice cream, a few spooky scares and a whole lot of smiles! 👻🧡🖤

What a SPOOKTACULAR night of giving back to our CASA and Respite families!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of @hoperisesnetwork, @pjcoolsicecream and WNY's Mobile Haunted Trailer, our families were treated to a special night out filled with FREE ice cream, haunted house thrills, laughter and unforgettable memories!

For the families we serve, opportunities to step away from everyday challenges, spend quality time together and simply have FUN mean more than words can express.

We are so grateful to these amazing community partners for recognizing the importance of creating moments of joy and belonging for our families.

Supporting mental health isn't just about navigating the difficult moments. It's also about creating memorable ones!

Team New Era had the thrill for the chill yesterday! 🥶

Special Olympics New York brought their mobile plunge unit to New Era’s global headquarters for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, where Athletes and employees joined forces to take the plunge, raise funds, and spread awareness for @specialolympicsny!

We love any opportunity to connect with our friends at Special Olympics and are proud to continue our partnership for years to come. 💙

Thank you to everyone who braved the cold in support of a more inclusive community!

My amazing friend Carly is a breast cancer warrior. Yesterday, she received heartbreaking news that her cancer has returned and her latest scans brought some incredibly difficult news.

In the midst of one of the hardest days imaginable, something beautiful happened. That very same day, we had the privilege of bringing Carly on stage, alongside 10 other women, to honor her at the @nerdsgonewild breast cancer fundraiser. This night supported @americancancersociety_wny and the critical research being done at @roswellpark🩷

Carly, I hope you felt every ounce of love in that room. I hope you know how many people are standing behind you, cheering for you, praying for you and believing in you!!!

Cancer may be part of Carly's story, but it will never define the person she is. I'm asking my community to please lift my sweet friend Carly up! Send her your prayers, your positive energy, your strength and, most importantly, your love as she navigates this next chapter.
