Happy Thursday everyone 🤎

Are you having a good day so far ?
I took the girls clothes shopping today 😄 it took me back to when I was younger , I’d try a million outfits on then end up back in the first shop 😂
Every Friday after work I would go clothes shopping , I loved it so much . I don’t do it anymore its all homeware 😂 🙈

Hope you have a lovely cosy evening xx

Had the great idea of autumnal dressing the mantel… Henry hoover had to do overtime sucking up all the detritus left behind from this bad boy

Love it though, such vibes 🍁🍂

September in Kent = Hop Picking time !

There’s something wonderfully timeless about being part of this annual Kentish tradition: the scent of freshly picked hops, the rhythm of the harvest and the generations of knowledge and hard work that keep our countryside alive.

And, of course… hops become beer - which is surely an important contribution to our health and wellbeing! 🍺😉

Proud to play a small part in celebrating British farming, Kentish heritage and the team of people who bring the harvest in.

Refreshing the hops in my 400 year old cottage!

And it smells DELICIOUS! I love the earthy, sweet scent of fresh hops, and I’m glad this messy task is out of the way for another year.

Also, the tag on the bedsheet was from the guest room, I promise I wash my main bedding more frequently than every 4 months!! 😅😅

Enjoying a bottle of MANIFESTIVE while working on the recipe for next week’s green hop brew.
It’s drinking really well.
The best is yet to come.

Is there anything more Kentish than fresh hops? Fresh hop season is upon us and I spent yesterday capturing content for my lovely hop farm client 💚

If you'd like a fresh hop garland, ring, or bunch for your home, pub, restaurant, cafe, shop, or venue, you have just a couple of weeks to buy yours before the 2026 season ends.

Visit essentiallyhops.co.uk to place your order for delivery or collection from their Bekesbourne shop (just outside of Canterbury).

Hoping to return there on Saturday to capture some drone footage of their sold out hop tours - so watch this space ✨

It’s hop harvest time here in Kent - hops are very closely associated with Kent, including its iconic Oast houses and I love having them in my studio. So I bought some more from @hopsandflowers. I also spent some time experimenting with the flux glazes made by @maycocolors on some more decorative shapes I have been playing around with. Overall, I’m really pleased with how they turned out, even if there were a few casualties along the way. Never a dull moment round here! Hope you like them!#ceramics #pottery #kent #hops #craft
