“The Obstacle Is The Path” OUT NOW!!

I’m at a point in my life where I just want to make music with my friends. I want it to feel good and be fun. This is exactly that - a friend album. A lot of work went into creating this over the last 2 years with @smilehighmusic & @feltymusic and I’m grateful I get to make music with these two legends.

This is the first project I’ve ever pressed to vinyl which is a huge milestone for me. It’s also only the 5th full project I’ve mixed myself which always includes battles with my own perfectionism and imposters syndrome. A lot of hours were put in and I’m very proud of the way it turned out.

Such an honor getting to work with the amazing @raminnazer on all the artwork. We had so much fun coming up with the art direction and track titles together. He absolutely crushed it and gave the album the perfect visual identity.

Shout out to all the collaborators

Ido Meshulam is hands down one the best trombone players around. It was a pleasure having this social media-less carnivore (he only eats meat) on my record "Seven Days". This is a snippet of my tune "Saturday: A Self Made Prison".
You can find the video on my YT channel and/or hear it everywhere.

I’m feeling pretty not okay, and this is not show promo. It’s just a night at @golddiggersla for humans being to human together only if they want to. Music by @swattykins @nickcampbelldestroys @themichaelmayo @horacebray and @chaun_d_horton

The first joke that most people remember hearing as a child is:

“Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side.”

It’s interesting that the first joke you ever learn about is actually an anti-joke. The punchline is making fun of jokes by leaving you with a boring matter-of-fact real answer. Before you even know what a joke is, you’re presented with a deconstruction of the format itself.

But there’s another interpretation of the joke as well. The chicken is hit by traffic and is sent to the “other side” of reality.

So the joke is about getting to the other side.. while also having two sides.

This is a new track called “see you on the other side” from the new collab album from:
