One week on from @pubtopelican and I’m still catching my breath 😮‍💨.

Honestly, this was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done—not just the day itself, but everything that led up to it. The planning, the logistics, four different start lines… it was massive. We capped the event at 500 runners and sold out four weeks before race day. The feedback has been incredible—and I’m so proud of what we created.

The truth is, I’ve got no background in event management. I’m an exercise scientist—this isn’t my bread and butter. I’ve just been learning as I go, doing my best, and pouring everything into trying to create something special for our running community. Thank you for trusting me and backing this thing we’re building.

And none of it happens without my family.

To @minna85 —you’re the real MVP. Thank you for holding the fort while I was away all weekend. I know it’s not easy doing it all without any family support around us. Your strength and backing mean everything.

To my kids—I missed you ❤️. You’re a big part of why I do this. My hope is that one day you’ll grow up being part of this community too and feel how special it is.

To every runner, every volunteer, every partner—thank you for helping turn a simple idea into something meaningful.

And a huge thanks to Kerissa from Towong Shire Council—your support and expertise made all the difference.

From the bottom of my heart—thank you. 🙏. I can’t wait to see what next year brings.

What. A. Morning.

Last Wednesday was next level with the crew from @asicsaustralia‼️

The sunrise? Unreal 🌅
The vibes? Immaculate ⚡
The shoes? All the heat—from Superblast, Novablast, Metaspeed Edge & Sky… 🔥👟
Over 75 legends showed up at 5:45 AM and made it one of those mornings you don’t forget.

Huge love to @mousetailespresso for the warm brews ☕ and to everyone who rolled out of bed to get amongst it. These mornings are what it’s all about.

Massive thanks to @asicsaustralia for making the trip up and bringing the energy—and a massive thumbs up to @_hopper__ , the legend with the sweet hair, for leading the charge 🙌 You’re a weapon.
