What begins as a summer experience can become a starting point for what comes next.

For Ariha, Ilina and Turvishi, their experiences through Ashoka High School Programmes gave them an early glimpse into university life, from engaging with professors and asking questions to exploring research and learning to think more critically.

Today, as Ashoka undergraduates, they are building on those experiences in new ways, taking on greater academic challenges, exploring their interests and finding their own paths.

From getting a glimpse of what university could be to experiencing it firsthand, their journeys show how learning can continue to grow with you.

Educator Dialogue
How can educators and counsellors identify learning gaps before they start holding students back?

Learning gaps can be difficult to spot early, especially during the high school years. Knowing what to look for, how to understand a student’s needs, and what support to provide is key to addressing them effectively.

Join Reena Gupta, Senior Director, Office of Learning Support, Ashoka University, for a practical workshop on Learning Gaps: Strategies for Student Support.

The session will equip educators and counsellors with practical strategies to:

• Spot early signs of learning gaps
• Understand the learning needs behind them
• Respond with appropriate support strategies
• Support students more effectively through their high school years

📅 September 27, 2026 | Sunday
⏰ 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Learn to recognise learning gaps early, respond with greater clarity, and create the right support for every learner.

Some experiences end when you leave, but some stay with you long after.

YSP was more than a programme—it was a space where conversations turned into ideas, strangers became friends, and every day brought something new to think about.

From late-night conversations to moments of self-discovery, from challenging perspectives to memories I’ll always carry with me—YSP gave me much more than I expected.

Grateful for the people, the conversations, the chaos, and the memories that made these days unforgettable. 🤍

Some chapters are short, but their impact lasts much longer.

Ashoka Young Scholars Programme, India’s largest and most prestigious summer programme, came to Chennai for the very first time. Hosted at Sishya School, the Chennai Learning Sprint brought together an exceptional cohort of high school students eager to learn, collaborate, and challenge themselves beyond the classroom.

Over the course of the programme, students learned from globally leading faculty, engaged with industry speakers, collaborated with peers on hands-on projects, and participated in energizer sessions that made every day dynamic and memorable.

The experience culminated in a Demo Day, where students presented their final portfolios and simulation projects, showcasing the ideas, insights, and skills they had developed throughout the Sprint.

As we share these highlights, we celebrate not just the learning that took place, but the friendships formed, perspectives broadened, and confidence gained along the way.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our students, faculty, partners, and Sishya School for making this inaugural Chennai Learning Sprint a success. We look forward to welcoming many more young scholars in the years ahead.
