Did a quick episode off the cuff to announce the Ep Release/Birthday Show at @decadeshifilounge tonight. Gave shout outs and played a song from our bros Santa Cruz @outpatientx off their new EP, as well as Atascaderos @straight_right101🎶 Touched on new band alert 🚨 @source.of.noise.805, @_wipeoutband @tuffkittyband and our show together at @manrockbrewing Oct 9th. And New batch of Basic Witch Pumpkin Ale released by @oakandotterbrewing for the fall. @outofthering1 playing in Anaheim tonight with @d.i.bandofficial, @mad__tab and more at the @worldfamousdollhut. Also mentioned Orcutt’ own @hostiletakedown with upcoming shows. And shout out to @tantrum_records for taking care of us Punk Rock Bands recording needs. Check out the episode and look out for more to come. Cheers n Beers! @petetruentmusic #newepisodealert #podcast #music #beer #nonsense

Just a quick shoutout to show my gratitude as I continue my journey of giving bands a chance to showcase their music, connect with other artists, build their audience, and sell some merch.Massive thanks to all the bands who rocked the stage at Humble Heart OB last night! @vileintentionband is badass, and I was happy we could fit @hostiletakedown from Orcutt, California, onto the bill while they were in town for another show. Much love to our killer San Diego bands, @the_sundering_sd and @shattered_eyes_metal, for sharing the stage and representing the local scene! Huge props to @humbleheart.ob, a thrift store by day and music venue by night, for opening its space to live music. Much appreciation to @soundguy.theheart.ob as well for keeping everything rocking throughout the night. And of course, heartfelt thanks to all the fans and friends who showed up and made it happen. Your support means the world to everyone involved!

Fun fact: This date was originally supposed to be built around a touring band from Texas, but they flaked after I had already put down the deposit and put together a pretty solid lineup. I planned to move one of the local bands into the headlining spot, but then they canceled too. I sat on the date for a couple of weeks before coming up with West Coast Death March: Metal Night at Humble Heart. Sometimes things work out exactly how they’re supposed to!
