Some weddings you photograph, and some weddings you get to experience right alongside everyone else. This was the latter.

We’ve known these two since high school, so getting to document this chapter of their story felt a little extra special.

There were happy tears (SO many happy tears), the biggest laughs, the sweetest moments, and a dance floor that did NOT disappoint. But more than anything, there was just so much love. The kind you could feel in every room, every hug, and every person there to celebrate them.

We walked away feeling less like vendors and more like family, and I think that says everything about these two and the people they surround themselves with.

The Okeys, what an absolute JOY it was to be part of your day. Here’s a little glimpse into all the magic…but ofc there will be more to come because I have too many favorites!

“Work trip”, allegedly 🤭

Still kinda floored that we got to hang out with the coolest people in the most beautiful place AND I got to do my favorite thing. How cool is life??? One minute @gablanouette and I are college roommates, and the next we’re exploring Canada while I’m photographing her wedding portraits. Like what do you MEAN. 🥹🩷

I get to see and share so many weddings, but somehow I don’t think I’ve ever really shared ours.

5 years married to my best friend. My favorite travel buddy, my favorite coworker, the one who always matches my silly moods and somehow always wants the same food I’m craving. A whole lot of laughing, growing up together, figuring life out as we go, and choosing each other over and over again.

I really would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Happiest day of my life.

Happy 5 years, my love. 🤍

June bug forever. Little snippets from my favorite month!

Better late than never I suppose 😉

My Italian themed birthday dinner at mom and dad’s was insanely perfect. They always go all out. Also my bday dinner is never complete without Sheila’s donuts! #moreburrataplease #donutsovercake

My dad somehow managed to recreate my favorite place we’ve ever stayed. 🥹 He designed and 3D printed this little model of @artimino, complete with working lights in the clock tower and villas. It’s one of those gifts that somehow gets sweeter every time I look at it. Now I just have to decide… tiny plant or candy for the little cubby?

The best weddings have a way of telling you what matters.

Before their wedding day, Jessica and Steve told me something that stuck with me. They care far more about the people and the moments than the material things.

Their day was built around family, friendship, presence, and connection. The kind of wedding where the laughter is loud, the hugs last a little longer, and every person in the room feels genuinely grateful to be there.

There were beautiful details, of course.
But what stood out most were the people.

The tears during the ceremony.
The pride on their loved one’s faces.
The way friends celebrated them.
The way Jessica and Steve looked at each other ALL DAY LONG.

A reminder that the most meaningful weddings aren’t about perfectly curated details and moments.

A spring garden wedding that felt like an actual dream. 🦋

No detail was forgotten by Helen and Hunter. Personal touches everywhere you looked. Custom scarves, menus, coasters, matches. Guest fashion that fully leaned in. Every corner considered. Every moment felt. The kind of looks I will never forget.

I don’t think I’ll ever be over this day, or the simple fact that I got to witness and capture it. So be prepared for many, many more. 20 slides just isn’t enough!
