Jared of House Emporium is here!
A dedicated roadman, Jared spends much of the year knocking on doors and digging through antique refuse in search of “special special”. For him, vintage is as much about reckless driving on dirt roads as it is about the clothes themselves.
We’re excited for a big hug and even more excited to see what makes it out of his dungeon and onto the racks. See you soon, Jared!

Today is Indy Road’s 5th Birthday! A lil’ milestone. I took a deep dive in my photos to look back on all the years and miles I’ve trucked all in the name of independence, freedom, and sustainability.

Indy Road was originally Indigo Road, I changed the name because ‘Indy’ represented independence, as well as a nod to Indiana Jones, a treasure hunting badass adventurer, which is the most exciting part of my job.

I am thankful to have been able to dedicate myself to this page and make it my full time job all these years. From being on the road full time by myself for over 4 years and running this business, first in a Prius, then in my van; I’ve covered 90% of the US in search of goods and life experiences.

Without all of you on here making purchases and supporting, Indy Road would not exist, for that I am endlessly grateful.

From having a full time Marketing career in the skateboarding industry for 20 years, to pivoting to vintage, it’s been rewarding to learn an entirely different industry.

Thank you for spreading the love with shares, tags, reposts, and sending friends my way so this train can keep on a-rollin’. I hope the many thousands of Dinos I’ve sent out with each of your packages spark a bit of joy and sense of adventure in your lives and that you all love your purchases for many years to come. Don’t forget; free compliments with every purchase!

Thank you to all my friends who have helped me with orders, photoshoots, a place to sleep when I’m on the road, and any and all support of me/Indy. Shout out to all my vintage seller buddies on here I’ve met, many of which have become some of my closest friends. I’m trying my gosh darned best out here for us and I’m excited for what the future holds. Love you all!

With gratitude,

P.S. This Seger song is my road anthem.
