Turns out our clients are just as obsessed with their agents as we are.

At our client appreciation party this week, the love was flowing. So were the snacks, the hugs, and some seriously sweet words.

It was the perfect way to celebrate our clients, Like Kind’s second anniversary, and our new office in Revolution Hall!

Get local with us Wednesday as we gather to answer questions about how to prepare to buy or sell a home in 2025 in Portland.

Thinking about selling?
We’ll help you identify the projects that can maximize your return on investment and connect you with trusted contractors to bring those plans to life.

Planning to buy?
Now’s the perfect time to lay the groundwork. We can recommend experienced mortgage brokers to ensure you’re financially ready to make an offer when the right home comes on the market.

Come for the real estate advice, stay for the drinks and snacks. We’d love to see you there!

For SELLERS, this indicates a dynamic market where PRICING STRATEGY IS CRITICAL.

For BUYERS, it suggests OPPORTUNITIES FOR NEGOTIATING a better deal.

Whether you’re buying or selling, it’s crucial to find a trusted and experienced agent to be your guide and personal advocate.

Those are exactly the kinds of agents we have at Like Kind. Call or DM us, and we’ll set you up with the just right agent for you.

Like Kind agent, Jake Goodson puts a lot of his energy into helping others: helping his daughter grow up, helping his clients reach their goals, and helping his colleagues grow as agents and people.

What Jake enjoys most about the profession is the art of orchestrating a transaction. There are also times during the lifecycle of a transaction when it stalls or hits a wall. Jake has a knack for creating solutions in these situations.

Find out more about Jake on your website, but keep reading to see his answers to our agent Q&A:

🎵 If your life had a soundtrack, what’s one song that would be on it and why?

I’ve actually been sitting with this question for weeks. Institutionalized by Suicidal Tendencies is definitely the one, if I’m being totally honest. Seminal skate rock straight outta the 80’s. In ‘84 I lived with my dad in Seattle, and I got to skate the sh*t out of everything in that city and this tape never left my walkman. And why? Because it still hits!

👋 What’s the most unexpected skill or talent you possess that not many people know about?

The thinnest bullsh*t filter known to man.

🦋 If you were to create your own holiday, what would it be called and how would people celebrate it?

A worldwide shutdown of all things electronic for just one day. Old-world living. Straight LIFE. Everyone needs to just go outside and play. Call it… “wake up and smell the pavement.”

⭐️ What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done or would like to do?

I’ve surfed and traveled all over the planet; in hectic developing world locations accessed via obscure airlines, had all kinds of adventures in real estate and business, but the most adventurous thing I ever did was decide outright to have Celine. She has been my greatest adventure and continues to be to this day.

I love this house!

Check out this cozy Cape Cod with all of the modern updates! The exterior landscaping is tasteful and gives you privacy inside the home. Step inside and enjoy your beautifully updated kitchen and bathrooms. This home may have a small footprint, but tons let that decide you. The finished basement and upstairs bedroom make this home feel much bigger on the inside.

Want to check it out with me? Act fast because this one will go fast in this market!
