UPDATE: We are $750 of the way there!!!
Blessed harvest season friends!

City Farm just got the community garden entrance fixed! It was a long time coming and we are grateful to our new pal J who built the fence on the honor system. We are looking for support in paying him back for that and other help!

Along with the gate, there is a series of upgrades needed at City Farm. These will help community enjoyment of the space, as well as secure good standing with the land owner to get an agreement for more years of community farming there. This is huge, the future of city farm is at stake but we trust we are in good hands!

- Fence and other repairs (urgent) $2000
- Junk removal $1500
- Signage upgrade : $500

We were so blessed by the community when we launched a city farm fundraiser in the spring. We reached that goal and were able to transition the space in major ways, expanding ground for the community garden and making a new stage and event space possible!

On the farms, and on the planet as a whole, it has been a big season of transitions, growing pains, bitter sweet moments, and abundance. We are all truly people powered! Shout out to all the non-human people as well! 🪱🐦‍⬛🐝🦋🐞😼

please share and spread the word! hasta victoria siempre!

Ragdale alum Drew Lewis [@ildov_] and House of DOV [@houseofdov] have spent the summer on tour — and now they’re coming back to Chicago to present Circle of Apathy once more, this time at City Farm. For anyone that missed this piece at Ragdale, now is your chance to experience it.

House of DOV has been described as “fresh, fearless and honest… dangerous and exciting,” celebrating diversity of genre, body-type, race and gender, and striving to be a changemaker in the local dance conversation while engaging with global discourse through touring. Their Ragdale debut of Circle of Apathy this June was a “Dance Top 5” recommendation — thanks Newcity [@newcitymag]!
