#HOUSEOFPHARAHOS | Original British #Soundcloud Rappers 🌎🇬🇧

House of Pharaohs formed in South London in 2015.
The group started with childhood friends who shared a love of music, fashion and art. 🗣️

Their sound brought together energetic UK rap and hazy,
psychedelic beats, giving them a different lane from the drill that was taking over at the time.

They built a name through their unpredictable underground shows.
Then Frank Ocean played their track “RWM” on Blonded Radio,
bringing them to a much wider audience. 📻🚨

From there came a Nike campaign for London’s Finest and a spot on Charlie Sloth’s European tour.
House of Pharaohs became part of a new wave shaping London’s creative scene.

House of Pharaohs were one of the most interesting groups in the mid-2010s UK rap era.

And they deserve more than a footnote in the story of mid-2010s UK rap.

New era.

They say every post is another brick.
Keep laying enough of them and eventually you build a skyscraper.

This is brick one.
