It is never easy to handle some of the unscripted moments life throws our way. In this clip Tova talks about sharing her story with neighbours on their daily run and getting advice and support that kick started her business.

What happens when a Plant Nerd, Firewolf, luxury soap maker, paramedics, firefighter + real estate agents walk into a Tim Hortons?

Smile Cookie chaos!

Ontario Shores - where I received treatment during my catastrophic mental health breakdown in 2014 - is the recipient of Durham Region @timhortons Smile Cookie proceeds this year!

What a privilege to be invited out in my hometown to raise awareness + celebrate life after almost losing my own.

We had so much fun decorating cookies, competing in a best decorated contest (which *ahem* I did not win but should have 😉) + supporting this incredibly valuable mental health facility that was so integral in my recovery.

Over the years I have fundraised over $100,00 for @ontshoresfdn through a @mooddisorderssocietycanada Defeat Depression Uxbridge walk at the Countryside Preserve, the @shoppersdrugmart @runforwomen 5K, events through the shop (including our upcoming Boonies Unplugged concert) + most recently as a Faces of Ontario Shores media + storytelling campaign.

I'm unabashedly proud to be a voice for those who can't.

Repeat after me:

🩷 Mental Health MATTERS
🩷 Help IS available
🩷 You are worthy
🩷 You are loved
🩷 Go buy a cookie!
