It was inspiring to judge the finalists in the 2019 #LiftOffHouston business plan competition organized by the Houston Office of Business Opportunity and the Houston Public Library. The 3 winners of each category: Product, Service, and Innovation - each won $10,000 thanks to Capital One, a sponsor of the competition. Each of the finalists were coached by SCORE mentors in the weeks leading up to the competition and each competed against 2 other finalists per category. The winning ideas were a monthly subscription box full of products for women with PCOS, a service for women similar to toastmasters where the coach and your "goal friends" come to your home, and a platform that connects people with available church space to rent out. Congratulations to all the winners! We look forward to watching you grow!

I am so pumped to share the official announcement that I and @accellifestyle have been chosen as only 1 of 40 companies from across the US for @incmagazine Founders Project.

Oh...and the big kicker?!? @tilmanfertitta is my mentor. He and his team have been an absolute pleasure to work with and it’s been so cool meeting in his actual office 💯 #weaccel #iaccel #blessed

Thank you so much @supima for inviting us to your Supima Harvest Celebration. ☀️
We love using Supima in our @accellifestyle gear as it’s the softest, most durable and best cotton in the world (and grown right here in 🇺🇸)

I love watching the cold fronts start rolling in this time of year, but it’s rare I get this kind of shot when they do. Prepare for the parks and trails to be teaming with people. #memorialpark and #whiteoakbayou will be covered in cyclists, runners and dog walkers. Go explore, find a new special place, there are loads of them around town if you just look hard enough. •
