The joy of making a disciple for Jesus cannot he compared to anything else in the world.

🤔 What do you think? 🧠

Everyone wants to hang out with Jesus as long as it’s convenient Everyone wants a a crown on their heads but nobody wants a cross on their shoulders The moment Jesus challenged our lives our lifestyle the way we dress the way we talk our religiosity our traditions and God forbid our political views We ditch Jesus like we ditch a bad date when the check arrives.

Getting people to study the Bible with is not that hard. All it takes at times to just to ask:

“Hey, I’ve been sensing God wants me to find a partner to study God’s word together. Would you like to dive deeper into God’s word?”

This is all what it takes. Let the Lord do the rest. Take the plunge and be used by God.

Last night at AY we had so much fun. 3 months ago we stablished Our Youth Council (entirely compose by youth 12-17 years old), best decision West Youth Department have made. Led by our Co-Directors for AY, sisters @rosiecols and sister Renee Schirra (her husband Ernie who does a lot behind the scene). They established the agenda for the next year and created an amazing program last night. They led EVERYTHING as adults watch (the way it should be at all AY in every church) I had the honor to give the devotional and we talked about Jesus prayer to his Father in John 17:21. The need for them as Youth to work together to become one with the purpose of their peers see the Father throughout their Unity. What I love the most was not the devotional I had or the games we played nor the food we ate (delicious)nor the appeal by @bluebonnetmissions to enroll in next year mission trip (please sing up) Our youth invited their friends, from school and we had so many. OUR YOUTH ARE CAPABLE, LETS ALLOWED THEM LEAD! 🙏🏾

Today at AY we will have a blast. We will have a special service and then our anticipated AY Olympics. Come and support, enjoy and have a blast. Targeted age is 10-17, but don’t let this discourage you. We will have an option FM for the little kiddos and adults as well. See you soon!

After a break in the Summer, Children Church is back at West Houston Church. Love this kiddos, time for me to stack my goodies with chocolate, chips, drinks, etc. They already let me know my office has been empty through the summer 😂 This kids play no game with their munchies, now I am questioning their thought of being the best Youth Pastor 🤔. ..🤭🙃🤣

Today during chapel we had a surprise guest! Thank you Pastor @rubipimentel for bringing our students the Word of God based on Genesis 1:1! Little Chigozie will be waiting for his prize for reciting the verse! 😉

A time for worship! A time for praise! All honor and glory to our God! 🙌🏼
