As an introvert, Rhinebeck can be overwhelming, but it is also a place where I feel completely comfortable geeking out over yarn, fiber, and everyone's handmades. I truly feel like I am among my people—others who share a deep love for making. I enjoy meeting Instagram friends, catching up with customers, and seeing long-time friends who I only get to see a few times a year.

My fiber journey is a bit different from most. I learned to knit at school when I was six years old, even though no one in my family knitted. I never put it down, teaching myself how to figure out patterns and stitches over the years. Knitting is truly woven into my soul and has carried me through so many stages of my life.

These last five years have been full of immense change, and knitting has been the constant that grounds me. The craft and the knitting community have given me so many gifts, and attending Rhinebeck every year only makes me more grateful for it all.

What a great experience these last 5 days were! I’m so grateful I got to attend @awoolenaffair and @nysheepwool and be surrounded by so many creative, inspiring “makers”! Beautiful scenery all around 🤩 I got to meet in person @dreareneeknits and the forces behind beautiful yarns @spincycle_yarns and @thefarmersdaughterfibers . These women work their passion and it’s admiring! So much appreciation! #awoolenaffair #nysheepandwoolfestival

We met at a weaving workshop and immediately bonded over the @dreareneeknits sweaters we were wearing!!! 😂

Somehow that turned into Rhinebeck, lots of other fun along the way, and now… we’re Vesty Besties!!!! 🙂❤️

I just love how knitting brings the best people into your life.

Anatomy of a sweater as I traveled in Newfoundland. Lots of time to knit in the car and on hikes. Had to lengthen it - don’t be afraid to do sweater surgery. Clearly a bit of FOMO this weekend but so glad to be able to take a picture with @howard.jenny and @debbagley01 at @mainstreetyarns yesterday to celebrate completed #ooeygooeysweaters. We are starting to plan our trip next year to Rhinebeck! Enjoy your weekend! 🧶🍁🧶

Our last night and day in New York features an amazing dinner, even better company, a walk over the Hudson River, and fall foliage all the way home. I loved every minute, but it's SO good to be home. ❤️

11 years ago today I passed my real estate license exam and became a Realtor. And, next week (8/18) marks my 15th anniversary working in real estate as a whole! That is nearly one-third of my life, and nearly half of my working career. Does that make me older? Yes, but also wiser. And, apparently more reflective ☺️ ⁣
⁣
My real estate career has had successes and failures. It is an ever changing and challenging career. But, overall I feel very fortunate to work in an industry that I love! I have met and worked with some wonderful clients, colleagues and mentors. People who have inspired me, supported me and so much more. Each interaction, whether brief or ongoing, has been a gift. I am grateful to all of these people.⁣
⁣
Thank you to all of those people, and to you. I am excited for the future and what it may bring! I hope to be able to help many more people fulfill their dreams, meet their goals, and make good life decisions. ⁣
⁣
Now, let’s go sell some houses, and have a little fun while doing it‼️ 🌟✨🏡🏘🤩👩🏻‍💻🏡🏘✨🌟
