The “Elioflex” by Ferrania. A 1950’s twin lens reflex that has some interesting features. F-stops f8-22. Shutter 25-200 +B. The taking lens is rotary focus and the viewfinder is of the “brilliant” variety. No ground glass to focus on, just a big “virtual image” in the same way as a Kodak Duaflex and lots of other 1950’s reflexes. If you have never tried one, they do give a very bright and clear viewfinder image, but no focus or depth of field preview. It uses 120 film and gives a nice soft glow to the world.

I am so chuffed to have one of my images on the front cover of the official Devizes Town Calendar 2022! The calendar is full of big and beautiful photos of the town (my favourite is Wadworth's reflection!) I must admit that I never appreciated that a calendar makes such a lovely present for people who love and live in #Devizes or people who live elsewhere in the world but have a soft spot for the town. They're on sale in @devizesbooks right now! And thanks to @howardmaryon for putting it together so well
