Behind the scenes & full curatorial insight of They Are Watching.
We designed the exhibition closely tailored to the venue’s architecture, installing nearly one million eye art installations across walls, floors and columns to echo the exhibition theme.
During setup, we adopted locally available tools and materials from West Africa, creating art that respects and blends with the local context.
Another core curatorial approach is magnifying single artworks thousands of times larger than their original scale, reinterpreting their hidden artistic possibilities and spatial potential.
By pairing artists from Ghana and Pakistan, we create layered contrast in style, culture and human dimension — making the exhibition visually striking and conceptually thought-provoking.

Two weeks since our exhibition They Are Watching concluded at the Danish Embassy in Ghana.

This is my first time curating in west africa. Curation under the theme They Are Watching, the show reflects today’s global political and economic landscape, celebrating cultural diversity and advocating world peace and international collaboration.

We intentionally brought together artists Tahir Zaman from Pakistan, Vifah Emmanuel from Ghana — different nations, cultures and artistic styles — creating powerful contrast in aesthetics, cultural perspective and human emotion.

This cross-cultural dialogue delivers far stronger visual impact and conceptual depth than a single-nation art showcase.

Grateful for @howfargallery , every artist, guest and partner who made this cultural diplomacy journey with LogonART. #CulturalDiplomacy #CrossCulturalArt #PeaceThroughArt #pakistanartists #ghanaianartist

The Embassy of Denmark in Ghana, in collaboration with HowFar Gallery and LogonArt—this installation became something more through @fanglogonart vision.

I’m genuinely impressed by how she curated the space and framed the work in a way I had never imagined, revealing new meanings and possibilities of my work.

Some works from Attention & Memory; Of Tsito.

These paintings come from paying attention to the places that shaped me - spaces I’ve moved through, remembered and returned to over time. Nothing here is just imagined from distance. The work is built slowly from memory, observation and my lived experience.

Using repurposed textiles, direct hand application, worn brushes, and layered surfaces, I’m trying to hold on to the feeling of place rather than just its appearance.

What matters to me is that people continue to recognise something within the work. Not just the physical environments, but the atmosphere, the familiarity and the memories attached to them.

Still remembering, reimagining, rebuilding the language to ensure what is archived is a direct reflection/representation as possible.

Attention & Memory; Of Tsito continues.

Exhibition Exhibition Exhibition!🔊
Which part of Ghana or Accra are you now?!
You are invited to join me this Saturday for my solo exhibition at Oyarifa.
This Exhibition covers my transformative journey as an Ewe artist growing up in Ghana.
The Ewes around can relate to how much we have to hide half of our identities because of STEREOTYPES.

Attention & Memory; Of Tsito is here to revisit, relearn, reconnect, reinvent, rediscover, reinstate my place as an African artist from the Volta region of Ghana.

After a successful exhibition/exchange in Tsito for the past 2 weeks, Attention & Memory; Of Tsito now moves to Accra.

I need to know, ARE YOU READY????

Beginning this journey in Tsito meant everything to me especially because of where my work comes from but I also recognise that majority of my audience were not able to experience it.

The moment has arrived for you to come and experience the revolution for yourself here in Accra.

This next showcase continues the movement and carries everything that came from the first encounter (the conversations, the curiosity, the connection).

A different context, wider audience yet same intention.

If you missed it the first time, here’s another chance to experience it.

Date: 25th April, 2026
Time: 12pm to 8pm
📍Roohi Yire Building, Ghana Flag - Opposite Petrosol, Oyarifa.
CURATOR: SITSOFE ATTAH @sitsofewellness
Flyer Designer: Oliver Seyram Aziavi @loudseyram

Open to conversations, collaborations, and partnerships.

TITLE: The Child Who Carries Love

This artwork presents a young child whose presence captures the quiet beauty of innocence and care. With a teddy bear gently secured on her back, she reflects a natural instinct to nurture, transforming a simple childhood moment into a powerful symbol of affection and empathy. Her posture carries a subtle confidence, suggesting that even in early childhood there is a sense of responsibility and emotional depth.
The teddy bear she carries is not merely a toy, it represents comfort, companionship, and the gentle way children mirror acts of care they observe in the world around them.

MEDIUM: Acrylic, Oil paint, Charcoal, Fabric, and fabric transfers on canvas
SIZE: 28 by 40 inches

I am excited to announce my first solo exhibition in Tsito, the Volta region which is also my hometown.

I title this ATTENTION & MEMORY; OF TSITO

This exhibition presents a body of work inspired by my upbringing, my lived experiences, the people and the spaces that shaped me into who I am becoming today.

This exhibition is about paying attention to what we already have. It’s about recognising the value in our own stories, our own place, and what the African Dream means from here.

Through this, I am also opening a conversation about the role of art in community development (how we can use it to preserve, reflect, and build).

If you’re around, come through. Be part of it. Be part of this shift.
📍Tsito Old Library
Date: 28th March – 8th April.

Your presence will be deeply appreciated.
