Another win for the Scots! Highland Park defeats R.L. Turner 62–7! 🏈

It was also a special Senior Night for the Highlander Band! Our seniors were celebrated on the field and joined by some of our future Highlander Band members from MIS and HPMS. What a great night to be a Scot!

Homecoming night at Highlander Stadium was one to remember! The Scots opened district play with a 45-14 win over Naaman Forest, with plenty of touchdowns and plenty to celebrate.

Our recap features the Highlander Band, cheer, Belles, Spirited Scots, students, football moms and the homecoming court, including our newly crowned Homecoming Queen, Ellington Heis.

A great night for the Scots and the entire Highland Park community. Let’s go, Scots!

SCOTS vs. EAGLES 🏴🦅

TWO CHAMPIONS. TWO LEGACIES. ONE NIGHT.

The sound of bagpipes echoed through Eagle Stadium.

The Scots had arrived.

Under the Friday night lights stood two programs carrying the weight of tradition. Two powerhouse teams. Two defending state champions. Two offenses built to put points on the board.

And everybody knew this wasn’t going to feel like an ordinary Friday night.

The bands played.
The cheerleaders roared.
The drill teams took the field.
The student sections erupted.

Then the lights came on.

Highland Park. Argyle.

Two different traditions.
Two different legacies.
Two communities expecting greatness.

The Scots came ready for battle.

But on this night, the Eagles took control.

Drive after drive, the momentum shifted toward Argyle as Eagle Stadium grew louder and louder.

When the final whistle sounded, the Eagles had defended their house.

But this night was bigger than a scoreboard.

Because when two championship programs collide, you’re watching two cultures built over generations—players carrying the same colors worn by those who came before them.

THE SCOTS.
THE EAGLES.

Two defending champions.

Two Texas football traditions.

And if you’re looking across the state for programs worth keeping your eyes on this season…

Watch these two.

Because championship stories don’t begin in December.

They begin under the Friday night lights.
