Meet Mack. 🤍

Mack reached out because she was experiencing numbness in her toes.

We met the very next day.

Very shortly after her treatment, my phone buzzed with a text that made me smile.

One line, in particular, is something I hear over and over again after a MELT session:

“I had to adjust my rearview mirror.”

No, MELT didn’t make her taller. 😊

But when your nervous system becomes more efficient and your body finds better organization, you often sit differently.

Less tension.
More support.
Better alignment.

Sometimes the smallest changes tell the biggest stories.

Your body is always communicating.

I’m simply here to help you learn how to listen. 🤍

If you’ve been dealing with pain, numbness, stiffness, or you just don’t feel like you’re moving the way you used to, I’d love to help.

📩 Send me a DM for a private or join me for class Monday and Friday at noon @fbhwellness

If you’re a college student (current or incoming!) in Dallas this summer, this night is for you! Join us Tuesday at 7 PM for a night of worship and community with Wesley House, the college ministry of Highland Park UMC. Take time to center your heart on the presence of Jesus and connect with other college students spending the summer here in town. All are welcome, regardless of where you attend college!

Wesley House is located on the north edge of the SMU campus at 3220 Daniel Avenue.

For the past three years, every Wednesday night during the school year, I’ve have been with these girls at @hpumchs Worshiping alongside them, praying with them, and hearing lots of life updates. We’ve sat through hard conversations, big questions, relationships, scripture, laughter, tears, major life decisions, and yes… plenty of bribery through snacks and goodies.

I’ve watched them grow in their faith, their confidence, and in who God created them to be. I’ve seen resilience, vulnerability, courage, kindness, and joy. And somewhere along the way, these Wednesday nights became so much more than a small group.

I challenge you to get involved in your church and serve regularly in some way. I believe we are called, by God, to do it. It’s not always easy. It’s not always fun. It’s not always confident. But it can change your life.

For my girls: I am always here for a voice memo prayer. God hears your prayers and cares. Don’t forget to show up for people (bribes/gifts also don’t hurt). Your life may be the only bible people ever read.

I love you 💚

What an exciting season here at HPUMC! Recently we celebrated our sixth-grade confirmands completing the Rite of Confirmation and honored our graduating high school seniors as they move on from HPUMC Youth. We are so proud of them and all of their hard work. May God bless their journeys ahead!

“Let your gentleness show in your treatment of all people. The Lord is near. Don’t be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds safe in Christ Jesus.”
