a balanced week of movement ⚡️

i get asked a lot about whether i strength train/do other forms of movement to yoga and the answer is yes i do !!! strength training was actually my first love in terms of movement and it’s a priority for me every single week

this was a week where i also taught 7 classes plus a workshop but only worked 3 days at my 9-5, so managed to get to two classes myself which was nice and needed

i’d planned an upper body gym session for the sunday too but i’d been a stressed girly so my bf forbade it and booked me a de-stress massage instead lol 🫶🏼

workouts/movement looks different literally every week for me as it’s very dependent on my work/teaching schedule, some weeks it’s more than this and some weeks it’s less !!! i also got about 10k steps in a day too

The chaos before the calm

I like to get in early on day 1 of my two day mesh integration course. This is so I have plenty of time to set everything up and if I do happen to forget something I have plenty of time to sort it.

Luckily I live 5 mins away from the salon and I was impressed I got home picked up my tripods and back to the salon in 12 mins flat 🚗💨
