Pattan Kodoli Marathi vlog 🧡🚩

Kolhapur jilhyala Hathkanangle taluka
An talukyachya Bajula Pattan kodoli gavala
An Pattan Kodoli gavala Vithu biru devala

So, I boarded a bus from Kolhapur in the evening and reached Kolhapur in the morning. I booked a room in a hotel and freshened up. The reason for coming to Kolhapur was the Shri Vitthal Birdev Yatra of Pattan Kodoli village near Kolhapur. I wrapped the camera completely in plastic, had breakfast and hired a rickshaw towards Pattan Kodoli village. I got down from near the petrol pump outside the village and the excitement of the yatra started to be felt in the atmosphere.

Every year, many photographers like me from Pune and Mumbai come here for photography. I saw their photos on Instagram and decided that I should also go and shoot here. Keeping in mind the portraits of people coming to the yatra, photos of Pharande Baba playing the hedam, and many other frames, I decided to take photos according to my style of photography and arrived in Kolhapur with my friends.

This yatra is a very big and important religious and cultural yatra famous in the states of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Goa. Pattan Kodoli is one of the 12 main places of Biroba Deva in India. The yatra is held on the Bhom Pournima after Dasara. During this yatra, Bhandara is propelled in the air, which makes the entire area yellow.

It is the place of two deities, Shri Vitthal, the incarnation of Vishnu, and Birdev, the incarnation of Shiva, who are worshipped in the Dhangar and Bara Balutedar communities.

I saw and shot this yatra for the first time. Since I was shooting in the temple for a long time, the sun did not bother me /The sunlight coming in the temple was perfect for photography. I had a lot of fun while shooting. It was a good experience. I will definitely come back next year. I returned to Kolhapur by 5:30 in the evening I took a bath and returned by night bus and reached home by dawn.
