POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Another year of life, and for that I give the Lord all the glory, all the honor, and all the praise. I've been through so much in my life, and being in Christ, married, a mother of four, a SAHM, and a homeschool educator has been so much more than I could ever have anticipated for my life. I never thought myself worthy of this calling. But as I enter chapter 38 of my life, I find myself in a place of serious reflection. I thought 37 was a big year for me, but it's nothing compared to how I feel in this moment. I'm so full of thankfulness and awe to the Lord for carrying me this far and breathing new life into me.

My goal this year is to live as if it were my last, within the means and parameters the Lord has given me to steward. Each year since I was 29, I've been very cognizant of wanting to be even more mature than the year before, and that hasn't changed. I want to be an even better version of who I am now. I could definitely try to describe what that looks like, but I won't. I'm putting that in the Lord's hands and choosing to continue allowing Him to shape my heart and mind into a better servant and friend.

I didn't really want to celebrate my birthday this year, but my husband surprised me, as he usually does, with such a beautiful and relaxing time away from home. It gave me room to think and consider what I want out of my life. This year will be all about wellness and productivity for me. I'm determined to break the stronghold of slothfulness through the power of Christ, and that means intentional consistency. For my birthday, I invested in a few small items that, Lord willing, will have a big impact. I also decided to take some free Harvard classes online and create a little office space for myself in our homeschool room. Giving myself a little space to sit, work, and read will hopefully help me stay consistent. Nothing too fancy or out of the norm, going on here this year. I'm just a regular mom, living a regular but very blessed life.… trying to get as much victory over sin as possible while here on this earth.

🥂✨ And with that, I’m saying cheers to another year of life
