🏏 MONNAS GIRLS MAKE THEIR MARK IN SA20 DEBUT! 💙💛

Our Monnas Girls Cricket team made an exciting debut in the 2026 Rain SA20 Schools Girls Cricket Tournament!

The girls kicked off their campaign with a fantastic victory over Florida, progressing to face defending national champions, Queens High School.

Despite a 41-run defeat against Queens, our young team showed great determination and promise, particularly with the ball! 👏

🌟 Standout performances against Queens:

* Chanel de Villiers – 3/16 (4 overs)
* Leané Cordier – 3/26
* Ella Botje – 2 wickets
* Jade Lapham – 17 runs (8 balls)

Although our SA20 journey ended before the semi-finals, this tournament marked an important milestone for Monnas Girls Cricket.

We are incredibly proud of our girls for their effort, growth and fighting spirit throughout their debut campaign. The experience gained is invaluable, and the future of Monnas Girls Cricket looks bright! 🏏

MONNAS, Liewer SLYT as Roes! 💙💛

Small technical fixes = big time drops.

Hurdling isn't about jumping higher. It's about staying fast over the barrier.

Working towards improvement

Your hurdle form is leaking speed.

Watch the lead leg snap up, the trail leg tuck tight, and the arms stay balanced. Small fixes, big time drops.
Save this for your next hurdle session. 🏁

Simple drill to be a better hurdler

Results like this don't happen by accident.
They come from showing up, trusting the process, and putting in the work when nobody's watching.

Palesa did exactly that. 👏
Huge congratulations, Palesa! The journey was amazing to be part of🥇

The Lions have also bolstered their Scrumhalf stocks with Monuments Morne Noble - quick and elusive, Morne likes to dictate the speed of the game. Slippery customer and full of energy. Great signing. 🇿🇦🦁🔥🏉
