Day 5 of Countdown to the Crown: Pageant Prep!

With just a few days left until we crown our 2027 @newenglandpetitepageant , it’s time to get organized and start preparing! The last thing you want is to be rushing around at the last minute or realizing you left something important behind.

Here are a few tips to help you feel prepared and confident heading into pageant weekend!

👠 Practice in your competition shoes! Our official sponsor, @allissalathamconsulting , reminds delegates not to wait until competition night to practice their walks and turns in their competition shoes. Get comfortable in those heels ahead of time so you can walk with confidence and own the stage!

💄 Get your hair and skin ready! Our official hair and makeup artist @hsartistry recommends arriving with your hair washed and dried for your appointment. And queens, don’t forget to keep your skin hydrated and stick to your usual skincare routine leading up to pageant day. You want to give your glam team the best starting point to create your pageant look! ✨

🧳 Start packing early! Make a checklist of your outfits, shoes, accessories, and other pageant essentials. Lay everything out and double-check your list before packing. Trust me, queens, you don’t want to be scrambling to find something the night before! 😂

Ladies, we’ve put in the work, and pageant weekend is almost here! Take a deep breath, stay organized, and remember to enjoy the experience. All the little things you do to prepare now can help you feel more relaxed and confident when it’s time to step on that stage.
