✅Focus is on what we can Control

Control the Controllables

🔴When our focus shifts to things outside our control, it causes use to feel a negative emotion like fear, anxiety, anger, sadness etc.

👉I call it the “check engine light”. When I feel those negative emotions, it is a cue to shift my focus back to what I control

🔥Get in the habit of asking, “What is Next?” or “What’s Important Now?” It shifts my focus to the present and something in my control

For the ones who shed their blood, sweat, and tears with me.

I am blessed and honored to announce my commitment to further my academic and athletic career at Hampden-Sydney College! First and foremost, I want to thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ for blessing me with the opportunity to play and the gifts He’s given me. Next, to my Dad, Mom, and Lola, thank you for everything. The love, support, and what you have given me can’t be described with words. I love y’all. To my guys who stuck by my side and grinded it out with me and supported me, it didn’t go unnoticed. My trainers, Viosergy Rosa and Will Bradley thank you for the long hours of work and belief in me. I won’t be able to thank y’all enough. Lastly, I want to thank Coach Mulvey and Coach Wien and the entire Hampden-Sydney coaching staff for giving me this opportunity. To every supporter, this is just the beginning. Roll tigers🐅

🚨 College Commitment 🚨
Congratulations to Charlie Gunn on his commitment to Hampden-Sydney College!
Charlie has put in work here at Xvelo, and it’s been great to watch his development. He’s a left-handed hitter who can really swing it, and this opportunity is well deserved.
We’re proud to have been a small part of his journey and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes at the collegiate level.
Congratulations, Charlie! 👏⚾️
