Zachary James Miller, Global Black Caucus Chair, recorded a message for DA China’s Annual General Meeting held in Beijing on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

We were honored to hear from this tireless advocate who has such an extensive history of working to build community and encourage voter engagement. His voice on voting rights and democratic participation is inspiring, particularly the ways in which he is able to connect today’s challenges to the long history of Americans working to expand and protect the right to vote.

He reminds Americans abroad that our distance from the US does not diminish our responsibility to participate in our democracy and leaves us with a hopeful perspective on the challenges we must work to meet day by day.

If you haven’t registered to vote go to www.votefromabroad.org today and do it!

Join us for an interactive advocacy workshop with Staci Childs — attorney, SBOE representative, and candidate for Texas House District 131.

From defending students in the courtroom to shaping education policy in Texas, her work sits at the intersection of law, politics, and real impact. This workshop will break down what advocacy actually looks like—and how students can step into it.

We’re excited to be joined by the TXHSDEMS Women’s Caucus and Black Caucus for this conversation on representation, leadership, and using your voice.

Because your voice matters more than you think.
