Another fabulous opening night @sffallshow
Known as “designer prom” among the S.F. designers, it’s a fantastic night to connect with industry friends and peruse the amazing art, antiques and vintage jewelry!
I loved seeing how everyone embodied this year’s theme - Modern Metallics.
I am proud that my firm @hshinteriors is a Design Council Member again this year.
I look forward to returning this weekend to get a closer look at all the beautiful pieces!

Designer @hshinteriors joins us in the showroom to share two quartzites she selected for an upcoming Mill Valley project: Patagonia Exotica and Pedra Azul.

While distinctly different at first glance, the two stones reveal a beautifully similar color palette creating a natural dialogue between the materials while allowing each to bring its own character to each space. 💙

Holly is incredibly intentional with every stone she selects, and we always love seeing how material, color, and movement come together through her perspective. We can’t wait to see these two come to life in the finished home.

Don’t we all love a little AFTER/BEFORE?

@hshinteriors Trinity Project at Dollar Point in Tahoe has just finished construction. I had some fun on my site walk trying to line up the shots of the newly renovated spaces with the before images from the real estate listing. What a transformation! And furniture starts landing tomorrow - so stay tuned for more!

We enjoyed working on this one with our collaborators @northtahoebuilders and @evolvedesignworks 🔨

When I finally get to do my own laundry room, I go all out. Is it likely to make me spend more time in there? Maybe! I might even decide to iron something. Tilt out laundry hampers hopefully means my family use them instead of the floor. Lucy the cat gets a discreet spot for her litter box. The cabinets will go rich and dark and I’m adding beefy crown molding because we’ve got a historic 1906 home and the ceiling height to carry it.

Countertops from @neolithofficial through @ceramictilecenter, brushed moderne brass plumbing and pulls by @kohler, washer & dryer by @samsungus and lighting designed by @noznozawa.

Now I’m down to the final wallpaper choice, a romantic panoramic by @isidoreleroy or a lovely large scale bird and willow pattern by @houseofhackney. Stay tuned…
