A night where global Michelin mastery met the soul of Salalah. ✨ 🌟

The Al Baleed Kitchen Party brought together extraordinary talents from Europe’s most celebrated Michelin starred venues — Chef @jacobjanboerma of the Netherlands and Chef @christian.juergens of Germany — alongside Chef @marcovanrutten22 from @anantarakrasnapolsky, whose expertise elevated every moment of the evening. 🍽️

At the heart of this celebration stood our own in-house culinary artists, led by the passionate chefs of Al Baleed Resort Salalah. From farm fresh vegetables and herbs to locally harvested honey and frankincense, the flavours of Dhofar shaped every plate and every experience.

A true collaboration of cultures, skill and ingredients — all under one unforgettable culinary festival.✨

We extend our sincere gratitude to our valued partners for their support in making this extraordinary festival possible:

A memorable night at Mekong on 12 November 2025 — a full Symphony of Taste crafted by Chef Jacob Jan Boerma, from his three-Michelin-star restaurant in Amsterdam.
Highlights included tuna tartelette with smoked tomato, Arabian fish tartare with Asian curry foam, Omani scallops with frankincense beurre blanc, and veal tenderloin layered with Arabic spices.
Finished with soft dulce chocolate, hibiscus, and frankincense. Pure artistry. ✨🍽️
